| (Hope this is the right place.) Reposting this from the breeder's facebook because I really wish I could take him in myself, but I can't get a dog until after the new year. Imriel is looking to find a new family (hopefully near New Orleans where he lives now). His birthday is 4/6/12. He is up to date on all shots and comes with his leash, collar, bag of dog food, and kennel. His owner is no longer able to keep him. You can contact Kukki at this number 850-459-8875 or email address inkedbyo@gmail.com and discuss purchasing Imriel. He is AKC with limited registration. I don't know how much he's willing to budge on the "adoption" fee ($400, but did say he'd lower for someone outside of New Orleans), but if he can't find a home by the end of this week (pretty sure) he has to take him to the SPCA. I have emailed him to ask a few basic questions about Imriel, but I'm still waiting on a response. |

| The breeder is doing this? or someone has him and they are giving the altimatum about this week or taking to SPCA, that has me a little curious. Why would he have to go to spca? Of course though best of luck to him, he looks great. |

| The breeder has a guarantee that they'll help find homes for any of the puppies they sell no matter what age the puppy/dog is (though not sure if they would actually take them in). So they're posting on their page to share the information. The owner of him still has him. I'm not sure if it's his living situation that he has to rehome Imriel, but he's been looking for a new home for him since August and hasn't found anyone to take him. I'm assuming it's a living situation that he has to get rid of Imriel, but apparently if he can't find a home for him soon he'll have to bring him to the SPCA. It's a weird situation since I haven't actually spoken with the guy who is trying to rehome, so I don't know all the details. I'd just rather see him in a home than in a shelter, but I can't really do anything to help other than post the information. _________________ |

| I completely agree that a home is far better than a shelter, I hate to hear people taking a dog to one of those. Best of luck to Imriel. I hope he gets a home with a nice comphy couch over a shelter with a hard metal or cement floor. |

| Wow I wish I could. Especially since he looks like he's raised with cats, though guess that could be the underlying issue here. He's beautiful and only a few weeks older than Cal. If I was already in FL I would be roadtripping this weekend for him. Though I do think $400 is a little absurd for a 6 month old. Especially when they have a week or he goes to the SPCA, who will charge what? $50? I'm wondering if finding him a good home is really their main priority. Seems to me like they want the money for him now or they're dumping him. Poor guy There's no reason a 6 month old couldn't easily find a great home. |

| ^ Around here shelters will charge up to a $200 adoption fee for purebred younger dogs. I do think his adoption price is a bit much, but he's coming with a large kennel, food, leashes, etc. and just the kennel alone could have cost more than $150.
I did send him a FB message saying if he's going to drop him off at the SPCA anyway, if he would just forgive the adoption fee if worst comes to worst. Though I haven't gotten a reply back yet.
I'm really surprised no one has jumped on him (though again, no idea what bites the owner has gotten or what his own stipulations are...). He looks like a great pup. _________________ |

| I agree with Kevin, maybe someone here can foster him for you Ashleigh until you ready to pick him up. If he was near the East coast I think we could off. |

| After not hearing a peep about the pup or from the owner, found on the breeder's facebook that first posted the "ad" for this pup that he found a good home for him! It would have been nice to have some sort of reply back via FB or email sooner though... _________________ |
