I tried to get Ilya to hold still for my than a millisecond. Not an easy task. This was as good as we got.... a sorry attempt. Her tail curls up typically and seems to be getting a little bushy on the bottom. Is the tail strange just because its so skinny, or was there another reason?

| Kristina. Are you referring to the white on her legs. It looks symmetrical as far as I can tell?

Our Sarabi had a really thin tail for quite some time... I'd say at 4-5 months it started to fill out. Kota's tail started to fill out at about 3-4 months. I've seen plenty of pure-bred huskies who don't have symmetrical markings. And I've read that it can take pups up to 6 months to get their ears fully erect so your little Ilya should be fine My friend's husky/german mix took 4 months to get his ears up fully. His mix also has the really sleek coat, which I haven't had experience with yet since both our huskies were fur balls haha. But I also know it's not uncommon for some huskies to just have a sleek coat. I know I didn't have anything new to add to the threat but I hope being relate-able may reassure you a little. Either way she's a beaut, mixed or not

Now it does! In the other pic it looked like she had socks I do still think she's mixed. _________________ Force Free Training ThreadCheyenne, Mishka, Mickey, Rodeo, & Odin Are you a Husky owner in South Florida?! Join our facebook meetup group!

I'm no expert on the breeds, but the ears remind me a little of the Alaskan Klee Kai. They're a husky mix that some people are calling mini-huskies. Here's an example pic:

I highly doubt its a Klee Kai - this is a YOUNG pup and is already bigger than some of the Klee Kai's I have seen.

I agree.. doubt she's a Klee Kai, but the ears look similar to me. Implying she may be some sort of mix with a Husky blend. No matter, she's a beautiful dog!

I'm stilling thinking shepherd/husky or lab/husky these two puppies are GSD/Husky and this is a lab husky puppy at 6 months

She looks like a lab/husky mix to me. The eyes and face look husky, but the coat is sleek like a lab's. Our Ezio isn't very poofed out like traditional huskies either, but his coat was always at least a tiiiiny bit messy looking. This is Ezio the first week we had him. These are more recent. He's actually gotten less poofy from the looks of the pictures, ha.

Not all husky's have a poofy coat. Some are tight looking while others are "Over Poofed"
