| Hi I'm new here ♡ This is Sarafine my 7 month old husky pup. The first picture is her at 2 months, then at 4 months, 6 months and at 7 months today as you could see she has changed so much! Is she still going to change some more? Also when exactly do they start blowing their puppy coat? She started shedding not too long ago but i dont think it's a coat blow yet. Although I must say the shedding has been increasing and it's almost September. Could she be starting to blow? 2 months 6 months 4 months 6.5 months 7 months |

| Love her coloring. I don't remember ours changing too much color-wise after 7-8 months. As far as blowing her coat, I'd say any day now.... You'll know it's time when you wake up and there are clumps of husky hair in your toothbrush, comb, bed, car, cabinets, pots and pans etc. |

Wait, you mean that's not normal??? I have three Huskies and I also have hair in everything, everywhere ... @Sarafine_and_the_flock you'll know when it's "just shedding" and when it's a full on coat blow!!! One human and one dog - where's the rest of the "flock"?? _________________ “Properly trained, a man can be dog’s best friend.” Corey Ford . |

- & lostmaniac wow is it really that bad?
Sent from Topic'it App It's worse. Honestly, one dog won't be too bad. It's just amazing how much hair comes off their bodies. Pro-Tip: Get your dog used to the vacuum. Start slow (unless they don't mind it). Use the vacuum to suck up the hair as you brush them. I've also taped the hose to the brush/ comb. Think of it like another tool for the vacuum. I think Bissel has one specifically designed for this, but only fits a certain sized hose. Pro-Tip #2- Brush them while hiking in the wilderness. I've heard the birds and other wildlife will use the fur to build their nests and dens. |

| @Sarafine_and_the_flock Yikes, you weren't kidding when you said "Flock" that's quite a collection of birds you have there. I'm curious, how do they get along? _________________ “Properly trained, a man can be dog’s best friend.” Corey Ford . |

| Somedays when the clumps of hair are barely hanging on we have a pair of magpies the will divebomb the dogs and snag the clumps. I have also seen the chipmunks grab loose fur and take it into their nests
@Sarafine cool birds i like birds from a distance. Had a very bad experience with an African grey and my mom raised cockatiels and her male attacked anyone that wasnt her. Lately a hummingbird has decided im his best friend and he keeps coming inside and even he kinda scares me |

| Woowww Thank you everyone for the tips!! I have 2 Siberian huskies Lilac is 9 years and Sarafine is 7 months lol I was just asking about sarafine because I didn't have Lilac as a puppy. & Yes parrots can be so sweet but so evil 1 thing about them is that no matter how strong your bond is you're going to get bit atleast once in your lifetime together and they bite HARD... not just that you totally gotta keep it together if you get bit because if you react in any way (scream/sayouch/thellthemno) they will keep doing it because they think its funny. So never get a bird you're not willing to take a bite from I even have scars from my little yellow bird lol but I love them and when they bite it's usually the humans fault for not paying attention to their body language and stuff. Like my green bird kiwi attacks me if I dye my hair a color he doesnt like until I change it ._. Lol gotta love em Sent from Topic'it App |

I made the mistake of giving him something i was eating and then not giving him more he went after me and me running and screaming from him made him chase me and well for the last 20 years he has to be put in the bathroom if im around. I liked birds until i met taz now even hummingbirds are scary |
