| So we're not sure what's wrong with Luna but Sunday night she started waking up every 2 hours with vomiting and diarrhea. Monday morning she was very lethargic and slept the majority of the morning. By Monday afternoon she was her old self, playing and eating normal. Then this morning she woke up at 3 AM vomiting, we took her out and her diarrhea was pretty much just water. She hasn't had a solid stool since Sunday. She's acting fine but I think we are going to make a vet visit to make sure everything is okay. We'll keep everyone posted! |

| Awww poor Luna. Yes, definitely take her in. Kody was acting like that once and he had swallowed TWO socks! Ended up throwing them up. Then it happened AGAIN and he had swallowed a stuffed toy! That one required a vet visit and IV |

| So my little monster is 30 pounds, which I couldn't believe especially after being sick! The vet looked at her and took a stool sample. It came back negative. She said Luna may have come into contact with Parvo. But at this point after completing her puppy shots, if it is Parvo her body will eliminate it and she may be showing symptoms simply because she got her last shot 10 days ago. Thus not technically making her fully immune, but certainly enough that it's not life threatening. She said it's probably not that anyway but a possibility. But she said since Luna is still at her normal energy level it's probably something she got into that she wasn't supposed to. The vet prescribed Metronidazole which is supposed to help with bacterial issues in the GI tract just in case, an antacid, and a bland diet. She said if things don't improve within 3 days to come back and it will have to be looked into more extensively. Fingers crossed this will take care of it!! |

| Blaze and Kerian were having diarrhea issues last weekend and they were both given Metronidazole Kerian just finish hers Blaze has one more pill. Kerian has had about 5 poops today and fairly solid. Blaze had one very large one that was pretty solid..
Metronidazole really does help my vet suggested giving them Yogarit between doses of Metronidazole to get some good bacterial back in their systems while the meds took out the bad stuff.
I am not sure what they ate the sample I took to the vet had some fibre like cloth in it as well as grass that sample was from Kerian. I never took a sample in from Blaze he just start have the same type of poop as Kerian.
Also a side note to this Kerian ate some sugar free cough drops a while back and her poop following that was nothing but water but it only happen once.
