Ok, so I was saying the other day that since Willows bday is aug. 1st and Pipers is aug 2nd that I would just make aug 3rd Aspens bday (since I don't know hers) but....three days of celebrating bdays is a bit much! Is it wrong to just celebrate her bday the same day as Willows? When I got Aspen in Feb, the foster lady said she was told she was two when she rescued her in Oct, the year before, so I do know she turns 3 this year. Or should I use the date I got her in Feb as her bdate? I have to say, I don't like not knowing her birthdate.

We don't know our dog's birthday so we celebrate August 15th for Chili's birthday (his adoption date) and Frosti's neuter cert date where it says she was 1 (Jan 10th) - and we also celebrate her anniversary with us. Their lives started again when we adopted them, so I feel like using the adoption date is a great, celebratory thing!

Any idea if she just turned 2 in Oct?

I have no idea. The lady that rescued her said she was so disgusted with the woman that had her because of Aspens condition that she just wanted to get her out of there and didn't discuss much with her.

Maybe use October as her birthday since it's the day her life got better? Halloween birthday?

We don't know Asia's birthday either. They said she was about 6 months when we got her on April 15th so we made her birthday October 15th. It also happens to be 5 days before hubby's bday.

I think I will make the day I got her her birthday. I think that will be easier to remember since that was an exciting day for us. Plus it's 6 months out from Willows bday. We can still celebrate today for her 3 years so she doesn't miss out this year.

We don't know Blaze's Birthday we were told he was 9 months when we got him on July 1st I make October 1st his birthday.. We don't Kerian's B-day either I want to make it May 5th cinco de mayo. I am not sure if we will celebrate their b-days or the adoption days. I made a doggie cupcakes for Blaze's adoption day this year. Kerian's adoption day is May 26th.
