| Hey there! My fiance and I bought our 8 week old little bundle of fur home 2 days ago, his name is Thor. We had been looking for a puppy for a couple of months, and after going to all of the shelters here in sunny Queensland we decided to look at breeders, as there are a lot of poor dogs in shelters, but most were older, and we wanted to get a younger dog or a puppy as we have a 15 year old Staffy called Maddie, and another older dog wouldn't be very good for her we decided. So after a while we decided to look into getting a Sibe or a Mal, we both love both breeds, and then it began! Husky and Malamute breeders here get their whole litter reserved the second they are made public, so we had our hearts broken several times with empty promises from breeders giving us a "yes!" and then a "Sorry none left" until we met a fantastic breeder called Nicole. We had a choice of 3 little boys, 1 grey/white with blue eyes who was absolutely HUGE (swear a mal musta snuck in somewhere ) 1 black/white with blue eyes, and the Thor who we instantly decided to choose who is black/white with what looks like almost black/brown eyes! So we made the 8 hour drive north to pick up our little boy, he christened the car with a lovely poop, and then slept the rest of the drive haha. So far he has been SO much fun, he is a handfull though! First night he woke us up at 3am howling and just wanted to play! but today he woke us up at 6, which is when we wake up anyway He's really good with eliminating, 80% is always on paper, other times I think he forgets he's actually peeing! lol! I can't wait for this little fella to grow up haha. Maddie is adjusting to him ok- she hasn't had another dog around for over a decade and never had a litter of pups herself (Shes fixed) so she's being very motherly and protective of him, but just a liiiiiittle too rough at the moment so he goes in a pen if there's an hour or two between transition when i go to work and my partner gets home and they get along fine that way In the car on the way home Savaging a bear that was a birthday gift haha. He sleeps alot Action shot! haha play time. And one of old Maddie

| Haha it is very cute, he's doing it on my feet at the moment, better than any slippers I've ever bought!! I was thinking of doing the 52 week photo thread, or maybe just a scrapbook Either way there will be more pics! |
