| My mom said the other day that she doesn't think my husky is getting enough exercise. Kokoro lets me know when she wants to play or go out, she doesn;t leave me alone. The rest of the time throughout the day she just sleeps, which my mom said is her being bored. My question is if my dog isn't getting into stuff and doesn't seem wound up should i be worried? She goes on 3-4 walks a day and gets to run around for an hour everyday (this helps alot) and we play inside too. |

| Your mom sounds severely misinformed LOL. A tired husky is a happy husky. You have to worry when they're destroying things or causing mischief. If they're sleeping, count your blessings! _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| I agree that a tired husky is a good husky, and them lying around is definitely NOT a sign they're bored! Sometimes on the weekends, my three seem upset if their naptime is missing! Especially Nanuk, as he follows his Mama everywhere, so as I go through the house cleaning or whatever, he follows, lies down close to wherever I may be, starts to nap, then kind of sighs when I go to another room, because he feels he MUST get up & follow me on to my next project. Such a heavy sigh! Sounds like things are just fine in your household...no worries! |

| my mom says the same thing. mine gets 1 hour a day at the dog park, and a goes outside in the yard a few times to play, but he's always sleeping. i think yours is getting enough exercise. if she is bored your house would be destroyed |

| A husky does not sleep when it is bored. When a husky is bored they will dig, scratch, destroy or just go hyper. When Logan doesn't get enough exercise he starts running up and down the hallway, dodging around the couch and table.
I know there are other dogs that lay around when they are bored, but huskies are definitely not one of those breeds. Kokoro sounds like she gets more exercise than Logan. He gets one short walk in the morning, and one longer walk/run at night. As well as the obvious playtime. |

| I'm glad that everyone agrees. That's what I told my mom, but I thought I would ask other husky owners just to be sure. thanks everyone for your responses! |
