| Week one is down. Starting week two. I lost 6.3lbs in my first week and shaved an inch off my waist. It has been very helpful to know Kristina, Melissa and Tiffany have access to myfitnesspal account. It's helping me stick to it. I had to turn down banana bread, a strawberry roll, freshly baked coffee cake and lunch out at work this past week. It wasn't as hard I as I thought it would be but it is the first week. I did splurge and had one slice of pizza and an ice cream bar for dinner last night but still stayed within 1200 calories. I have cut up all my veggies and fruits for this next week. It may just be wishful thinking but I do feel like I have alot more energy and I dealt with alot less pain in my knees and foot. I spent almost three hours raking my yard up yesterday morning and normally that would have been too much for my left foot and put me out of commission today but it didn't! Besides the sore muscles, my feet do not hurt me today! I am so excited about that! |

| Congrats on surviving your first week and it does get a lot easier to say no to things and pass stuff up. When I was losing weight, I found it super hard when at work all the treats and baked goods were left by my desk but having a snack or healthy alternative in the frig. really helped me out. I also experienced the energy boost after getting rid of processed stuff and eating better. It's amazing how much better your body functions once you clean it of all the toxins processed food leaves behind! Good luck on your journey Also EatingWell Cookbook I found to be a great tool for me to plan meals for the week also there are some pretty delicious desserts that are pretty good on calories. You can feel like you are splurging when you aren't |

| Thanks Natalie and Jen! I do feel like I have tons more energy now. My boss bought piazza for us yesterday and I splurged and had a slice. Boy did that shoot my energy down quite a bit! I'm realizing the benefits of healthy eating.
So Fridays are my weigh in and I lost 2.3lbs this week and lost half an inch around my waist. So the totals to date is 8.6lbs and 1.5 inches lost! |

Isn't it amazing how one little splurge affects you? _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword.
