This is what Nicky & Hayden do every day in the car! They will wrestle, cry, moan, groan, & drive me crazy lol. Gotta love riding in the car with two puppies fighting for the front seat.

thats cute but i would nip it in the bud NOW, they both should go to the back seat. trust me, you don't want 2 full sized huskies playing like that while your driving! Jack has jumped to the front seat and has put my element into neutral on a curvy mountain pass more times then i would want! i got a divider from heather and it has helped some, if he really wants to be in the front he has crawled under it or jumped over it while i driving, scares the shit out of me and i don't want to crash because i get i husky thrown on to me during a turn!

While I agree that is cute, I'm with Jenn! That would be distracting for me...

Yes, get some sort of restraint before something happens. A barrier won't stop the antics, at least it didn't for my pack but at least they'll be safe.

Oh Hayden has put my can in neutral many times! Drives me INSANE! They are usually in the back seat 99% of the time. They just so happened to jump in the front seat for a minute, so I snapped the video and threw them in the back. This usually happens in the back seat thankfully!
I'm trying to buy an SUV here soon, so they can have the back and can't put me through so much torture.

I'm just glad my huskies arent the only ones who look like they are killing each other during "play"

Kiara has thrown my car in neutral too, she loves resting her head where the stick shift is.

I'd get a harness that buckles into the seat belt clip. Heaven forbid yopu have an accident, but if it were to happen nad the dogs werent sucure, not only are their lives at risk for hot being tied in but if you've got a fully grown husky weighing approx 30kg coming towards you at lets say 70km/h (Sorry we dont do pounds and miles here in the land of Oz) thats a recipe for absolute disaster.

+1 for seatbelt harnesses. I always put my dogs in them unless we are just going down the street!

I just heard on the news the other day that New Jersey was going to required all dogs to be in dog harness in cars. Mainly because they cause distractions for the drivers.
My dogs ride in the back seat of my Volve sedan I have a blanket and some chews and toys for them in there. They go with me a lot.
Now in my husbands car they ride in the Honda CRV we put the seats down and they ride in the back not the front at all.

Well I only own one dog. She is very good in the car. she usually lays in the back and sleeps. I don't remember putting my parents dogs in the car and they play with her. They all tend to be calm in the car. Well Maggie has a very calm temperament so I doubt she play in the car.

We lay the seats down in the jeep, and snap them all into the hooks in the back. Kya jumped on the dashboard once, because she wanted in my lap.
It's adorable, but yeah, very dangerous. If you don't want to snap them into the seatbelt, they make/you can make a line that runs across the car to hook their leashes to. That's what we use in the back of the jeep, if we can't snap them into the hooks.
