| Seems like a lot of your dogs really do well on TOTW, how many of you are still using it after the recent recall? Just curious. |

| I never tried it. Had Coquito on Orijen and at the end he was refusing to eat it. Also his poop was always on the very mushy side with Orijen. When Ginger moved in I was transitioning him over to Blue Buffalo Wilderness Duck. Both of them seem to like it and both of them now have firm poop. |

| My pet store doesn't have TOTW in stock at the moment. They told me they weren't getting anymore in until the end of June or early July. My non-husky dog's are doing really well on the new grain-free food that has less additives than TOTW. I may end up switching back, but not for a while. |

| We still use it.
We've debated switching, but it has nothing to do with the recall. And I won't do it until we finish the most recent bag. _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| We are still using it. My dogs have done amazing on it and it's one of the only foods Blitz actually will eat. I actually had a recalled bag and had to take it back but I will continue to use it. |

| I am thinking of trying it with Balon, either TOTW or Blue Wilderness Puppy (he refused acana and orijen) If I go with TOTW should I do the fish one or the bison one for puppy? |

| We are not using it anymore. It's not about the quality, TOTW is a fantastic food, but I am not too fond of Diamond anymore and I am just avoiding their foods entirely. I wouldn't force my opinion on anyone, so please don't think that. We will be rotating Acana & Blue Wilderness, with GL Pureformance as our primary. It's just the best option for us. |

I agree Diamond is a little suspect in my mind too. Orijen is up to $83 for the big bag of six fish, so TOTW is still in my rotation. |

| Honestly, the Acana around here, is only 48.99 for the Wild Prairie 30lb. Smae price range as TOTW |

| I was ecstatic when I called the mom and pop store down the street and he said it was 48.99 - they have a cool buyers program too, so for every 10 30lb ultra-premium bags we buy, we get one free.
Plus, and I hope you guys don't judge em for this. I just started working for Blue Buffalo as a second job. So, I get a hefty discount on their food, hence why we are putting it into the rotation again. (plus, my mom gets a petco discount as an employee, so we save A LOT) |

| As far as recalls go, it seems every single dog food has been recalled at some point, Iams/Eukanuba, Nutro, Blue Buffalo, Canidae, TOTW, my thing is if you find a problem fix it.
I decided to try TOTW high prairie puppy. Like I said, he hated acana and orijen, Blue wilderness I can only get tiny bags around here, Iams and Eukanuba are out because when my vet wanted that switch he really got the runs, and the Nutro his breeder had him on gave him the runs. I have hopes for this food. We shall see. |

| It is a good food, but why the puppy over life stages?
And you are right they have had recalls, I just don't like the way Diamond has handled theres...So it's a personal thing. (Nutro, Canidae TOTW and Chicken soup are diamond brands). |

| Balon is only 3 1/2 months old. Shouldn't he be on puppy food? That's what the vet wanted him on puppy food, only they like IAMS ugh. |

It may come as a shock, but vets get absolutely no training in animal nutrition unless they personally elect to seek out a course on it. So why does your vet's thought on nutrition matter that much? An all-life stages food (like TOTW) is just what it says: appropriate for all-life stages. That makes it no better or worse than puppy food. _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| Koda it doesn't come as a shock at all now lol, obviously the vet is incorrect or my Balon wouldn't have the runs right now from crappy Iams lol. I realize that TOTW used to only come in all life stages, but it now comes in Puppy so that is what I bought since Balon is so young. I think the size of the kibble is better for him too. I have high hopes for this food as I am running out of options, everything else he wouldn't eat (orijen and acana) or it gave him the runs. I put him on just the one the breeder had him on with nothing added (Nutro Ultra) for the past 2 weeks (after trying eggs and green beans which he ate but never made his poop harder, and he kept throwing up the green beans). His poop was mushy at best and his butt had to be wiped everytime before he came inside because he was so loose. At least with TOTW I can move right into the same formula in adult later on.
I so appreciate all of you being honest about all of this, I just want whats best for my baby! |

| We switched the dogs onto THK and GL but they just weren't doing good on it. They were constantly hungry, getting diarrhea and getting skinny. They're back on Sierra Mountain TOTW |

| I use it. Breeder I had never used puppy food, from milk to wet adult dog food. She had her on eagle but that was much too expensive for me. |
