ok im dogsitting a friends dog for a few weeks and he keeps going on and on about how much he paid for her and etc etc, he says shes purebred sibe but im not too sure about that. shes got the markings, but her tail and facial structure dont seem like it, what yall think?

Hmmm, her ears look like they could be GSD.

how old? does not look full sibe to me.... muzzle is to long and narrow and the tail is weird, as well as the coat looking very short

4months old, i agree though, i think he paid in the area of $500+ for her.

I think she's probably pure bred, but really bad breeder with horrible lines and such. you should see some of the huskies around here..

It just makes me love my axel, I know his bloodlines and hes my pretty boy, everyone that see's him compliments me and especially on his huge floofy tail xD

I don't see greyhound, I had two greyhounds for over 10 years, the body structure is not there, greyhounds have a look all their own Even a greyhound mix would most likely have the deep deep chest and high stomach tuck that a full blood greyhound would have. Not even the tail is a greyhound tail, their tails are thinner and longer, much like a whip.

GSD in the ears maybe. Body looks Siberian to me, but the hair is shorter then most, and the tail is definitely different. The longer muzzle I have seen on many other husky's, including some on this forum. I am no expert, but I like studying how different breeds of dogs should look. Obviously I can't say whether she is 100% husky.

I think there might be mal in there . Not the snout though because malamautes have smaller snouts then huskies. The dog is only 4 months. here is Maggie's radar ears at 4 months.

lol actually Balon has some pretty big ears too, though he is growing into them lol

maggie didn't grow into hers until she was 6-7 months.

So I googled malamute/GSD cross. I almost instantly saw malamute, so I go curious.

The tail isn't right still, but yeah it does look somewhat like the dog you googled for sure.

the tail is a tough one for sure. I can't figure that out. However, the dog is only 4 months, dogs coats change, still may have some puppy fur. maggie's tail started getting fluffy when she was 5 months. So it may change.

Honestly taking a second look, she looks like she could be from some sepalla lines. She looks like a lot of current pure Siberian sled dogs
