| i read that after i looked farther into the threads! thanks for getting them. i have heard those spray leave in conditioners and a good rake brush, then look into bathing them, dont shave them but if spots were really bad you could cut out the area taking as little un-matted fur as possible. Brian might have some ideas if hes not busy curling he takes in a lot of rescues. _________________ |

I have several bottles of leave in conditioner that I bought for Ax, These two are sweethearts and it breaks my heart seeing them like that, huskies are a regal looking animal and these two are on their way to their former glory! |

| I would try and brush out what you can but you probably need a mat splitter. Don't bathe before brushing! Always brush first! You'll just make it worse... But certainly pick up a mat splitter. Or they sell dematting rakes. _________________ Force Free Training ThreadCheyenne, Mishka, Mickey, Rodeo, & Odin Are you a Husky owner in South Florida?! Join our facebook meetup group! |

i got a vague story, they were previously confiscated from a byb who by court order was not allowed to have more than two dogs. The pound says they are both two years old. But I've got a situation I could use some advice over.... Axel and Killer (Thats his real name those byb'ers gave him) do not get along whatsoever, Ax is curious about Laila but the byb'ers had her and Killer constantly breeding so when Ax gets close to her Killer goes craaaaazy, right now Killer & Laila are in a crate, yes together because they cry and howl if their apart....anyone deal with this before? |

| They look AWFUL. Poor babies! Totally miserable in the second photo.
Storm and Rio did not get along at first. I had to keep Storm away from Rio for about 3 weeks, and let them acclimate. I also have heard that several people have had to do the rotation (one in crate, one not), in order for everyone to be happy and safe. I am not sure of long term solution, because Rio and Storm still get on each others nerves. |

| Have they been spayed/neutered yet? That should help a lot on the aggression. That and time. Rescues usually need a lot of time to get used to their new surroundings. _________________ -Sara |
