I'm new here, and I'm just looking for people who share the same love for huskies that I have... I currently have 5 huskies, they are my pack and my family. I also have a blue-heeler/golden retriever mix, that thinks she's a cat. But our cat thinks she's a dog, so she fits right in... I'm currently having some difficulty with my two males, and one female... Bones gets really annoyed sometimes with my pup, and tries to snap at him. Is there anything I can do to help them get along better??? As far as the female we just recently took in as one of our own, she thinks she's the dominate one of the bunch, and it's making Missie go through anxiety... Is there any way to make her feel more comfortable??? I just want them to be happy. They are all treated equally, but they get a little moody once in a blue moon... Any advice is greatly appreciated.

To everyone- Thank you for the warm welcome. As to all the beautiful dogs that you all own, they are just as beautiful. I admire the love and care that each one has, they all look very healthy and loved... I'm looking into a girl malamute puppy right now, does anyone have any advice as far as if they'll get along well together? The malamute puppy will be 7 weeks next week, and she'll be ready to go. She'll weigh about 130 when she grows up, and she'll definitely be bigger than my pack...

They'll get along fine, but make the Mal pup stay until it is at least 8 weeks of age. They need that extra week for social skills. 130pound! Seems like its one of those Giant Malamutes I've read about, be prepared for a broken heart in 6-8 yrs. their life span is much shorter.

Thank you for the advice... I've been heartbroken before, my german shepherd/coyote mix that I had since I was born died in my arms cause of someone poisoning her. She was the sweetest thing in the world, I was 13 when she died and she was 15. So she still lived a long healthy life, and I miss her greatly. The closest thing I have to her is my huskies I have now, because they all have that unconditional love, trust, and free spirit that never dies just like her. By the way... Your huskies are beautiful.
