ok well like i've told everyone, ever since his accident he's been much more affectionate, so as of late when im in bed watching tv he will come up and nudge my head with his and i sit up and he lays down n i lay my head on his belly n we watch tv together. so today im watchin tv and had my baby with me and he comes up and nudges her so i picked her up n he laid where she was between my legs, he kept looking at me with an expectant look, so i laid her on him and he licked me then her then he did the weirdest thing, i dont know why but he put his mouth over my hand but didnt bite, i dont know how to explain but it was odd, he had my hand in his mouth, hes done it only once before, when i was splinting his leg when he got hit. has your huskies done this? im just curious what it was all about. but he loved having baby with himwe sat there for an hour watching tv.

hes my big ole teddy bear i love him to pieces, lol people think im crazy but i love him as much as my kids.

it's not crazy...lol Being away from the house for 12 hours everyday I miss mine a lot and can't wait to get home to see them.

glad im a stay at home mom, i dont have to miss anyone.

Embry does the "hand holding" too. He does it to me when he's excited to see me . In huskies for dummies they say it's an affection thing...

It sounds like it could be his form of affection.. Maybe it shows that he can very well bite you but would never? Either way he sounds so lovable and that is the most adorable picture ever! You have two cuties

He is such a sweetheart but he wasn't always such a cuddle bug. He used to be the type who likes to be petted and receive attention but not give it lol but since his accident I think be realized he could trust us and he came out of his shell and is a big old fluffy Teddy bear.

found this in an online copy of the for dummies book, so that makes sense now, i guess he was letting me know i could trust him with the baby.... is this specific to huskies or all dogs cause ive never had a dog do that before...

That is so much like Biko, he'll latch on to my arm and then his tongue became part boa constrictor while he lightly munches on my forearm. If he gets carried away just a easy low voice of "hey take it easy" and he'll ease up.

Snow does this to my little guy. She hasn't done it to myself or my husband yet. At first we thought she was biting him, but she is very gentle and usually only does it when he sits next to her during cartoon time.
I think she likes him most because he shares his snacks with her lol

river takes my hand all the time i just love how our furbabies talk to us

Awwww!! What a lovely picture! My 1 year old husky, Odin, just likes to play with my hands. I wish he would just be gentle like yours!

Kya does this too, but she does it more to the cats than to us! she will take their paw into her mouth and just lay there, or she will nuzzle her nose under their tummy.

She likes to put her entire body under my armpit to tell me she loves me.

Kody does the hand thing to my husband every night. He even sucks his thumb. He obviously doesn't really suck, but it sure looks like that's what he's doing. He gently holds on to my husbands thumb and won't let go until he falls asleep. It's the cutest thing.

This is the first time that he did it and he's kept it up ever since
