| Hi everybody just thought i would put up some pics and tell u about ourselves first off i've had a dog in my family continuosly since i was little until i moved out of my parents house so for the last three years i've been dogless and really i couldn't have been responsible for one anyway, but now that i'm older and i got a place of my own where i can have a dog i decided it was time, when i went looking for dogs i knew i wanted a larger breed, i can't stand little dogs, and i wanted a dog that could come with me wherever i went for work, ( wich in the oilpatch its ussually somewhere cold!) and i knew i didn't have $1000 for a dog either, so i went online to kajiji and looked at the dogs i called about thor and went to see him and as soon as i saw him i knew he was perfect for me, and the people i got him from gave him to me free with his breeding papers and all! I guess they had got thor for thier daughter but when she broke up with her boyfriend and moved into an apartment she dumped him on her parents, when i got him he had been confined to a dog run with very little attention for about two months and was very shy. But evryday we are together he gets better at everything, the last time we were at the vet she said he was the calmest husky she had seen! Anyway thor comes just about everywhere with me wether its to a friends or work hes always with me and i just think hes the best thing i ever did for myself! |

I got Sitka under very similar circumstances. | LOL- Congrats and Thor is very handsome! Please excuse Chad... he is our resident forum/grammar Nazi. Although, we do tend to like a clean and organized forum, so we do ask that everyone do their best to write in proper English with capitalization and punctuation. The reason being mostly that it is easier to read for everyone and especially anyone who's first language is not English (since we are an international community). Welcome to the forum! You've now been initiated officially! _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| He is so cute! Im glad you found a great dog to enjoy your life with. We got Sierra for Free from a breeder that rescued her from another breeder, I wish more people would do that when trying to rehome a animal, we were able to take the money we would have spent for her and get her all the items she needed as well as a vet check up, we also adoped Jack but we paid something for him. Hope you enjoy us all here. |
