2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. He looks great! How is your Delilah with other huskies?

They mention he's good with dogs, but what about other huskies? Have you fostered before? I believe they let you bring your dog in to see if they get along first, just in case of a catastrophe!

Otherwise fostering is awesome! I would think as he is a senior male though you may have him for a while because of his age. Although it may be different where you live!

Delilah is a great dog, seriously she is so even tempered. it truly is wonderful. I don't know what I would do without her. She is great with other dogs and even great with our cats...and we have brought another home since we got her and she LOVES that one too..she is a very strange husky...to say the least.

Then I think you should go for it! Fostering is wonderful.

I foster cats (not the same I know) it's rewarding seeing them go to a lovely family, but at the same time hard to see them go. It's awesome getting updates from the owners, pics in their new furever home.

Fostering is great return on investment because they will end up with a great home and you get to give them one while they wait for that great family looking for them. Also, he is a senior and how can you turn away a dog up there in the years...he put his time in and deserves to be treated accordingly, just like senior citizens. Good luck and I hope he finds a great home soon if he doesn't get a great foster home with you.

I am fostering my husky and its great! Best part is with my agreement with previous owner is I get to confirm the home they go to. She left once and came back withing a week due to them NOT listening to me about her needs of exercise.
