We have yet to find a product or material that our husky cannot obliterate in mere seconds.

We have tried different beds, mats, blankets, towels, the hard plastic inserts found in metal crates, etc...

To this date, old bath towels seem to last the longest...FWIW.

What kind of crate are you using? If possible, I'd suggest emptying out the crate and providing only a Kong or a bone to occupy River.

I tried using beds for the longest time and making it all "comfy" in the crate and they only saw the bed as a giant chew toy to destroy! I special ordered some and everything and they lasted maybe a day lol ... Now I just hit up the store Home Goods and buy some pet blankets or fleece blankets and throw them in there. I put a little bed in there for my puppy and doesn't even use it! He prefer's the blankets Smile

Actually, another thing I do too is hit up the fabric store and buy a few yards of fleece fabric and use those as blankets and it's dirt cheap! Only costs a few buck's and you get a ton! I use this to throw in the cat carriers for our trip's to the vet Smile

Good luck finding one...from what I have read about other huskies is that they love to destroy things in their crate. Cali has homemade two layer foam bed with her blanky over that. She doesn't destroy it or even mess up the blanky. From what I read on this site I have another animal inside a husky body lol.

Sabaka seems to accept a folded blanket for sleeping at night, but during the day that blanket is doomed for destruction!

Blaze doesn't sleep in a Crate at night he sleeps on a pillow bed in our bedroom he also likes to be covered with a towel.

So I guess I am not much help on this topic.

The only time we use the crate is when both of us leave the house afraid to leave him by hisself.

we crate him sometimes at night depends on hows hes being but we were haveing a (potty issue) even though the previous owner said he was potty trained...and also when we leave for the day but we usually try to take him with us expecially since im triing to train him to be a service animal. maybe ill see if the covering him will sooth his need to destroy

I only crate Kale for a max of 3 1/2 hours, I can't leave ANYTHING but a nylabone and a stainless steel bowl of water is his crate or he eats it. Literally, he will chew and swallow the bedding.
