Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.

4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Sky is currently 5 months old, born December 2011. She is 75% husky and 25% lab. She is super smart but boy has she got sass! When I first got her she was only 5 1/2 weeks old and 3lbs. I was really concerned at first (and that's when I joined this forum) because she was so tiny and young-looking; the owner had told me she was almost 8 weeks. Luckily, Sky has grown a lot and is healthy as can be! She is full of energy and growing so fast. Thought I'd share some pictures! (to follow)

^^ This has to be my all-time favorite picture of her... she was digging at the carpet already and I raised my voice at her - she sat under my desk just like this for a solid 10 minutes giving me this sassy death glare.


Spoiler Alert: This is her at 4.5 months old, but look at how she hasn't changed a bit, she even folds the same leg under!

i thought i saw more lab when we was wayyy younger, but that most recent pic you definitely see the husky taking over! cutie for sure!

I willll say though, that because huskies have a history of of being prone to hip dysplasia, you should watch out for her sitting on her legs like that. Keeonah did it while she was growing, and I corrected it every time. Now she sits straight. I would just hate to think that I helped contribute to a future problem by not fixing something like that. But maybe I worry too much Razz
