| This is a long story so I'm going to try to shorten it up. Kristina (arooroomom) is involved with the Sibe rescue of South FL. She messaged me on Friday night asking if I could please go to Animal Services on Saturday morning and "adopt" this 5-6month old puppy before she got into the wrong hands. Animal Services is much closer to me and she wouldn't be able to make it down before 11am. They open at 10am and she would for sure be gone. I, of course, agreed. She was so sad and sacred in that nasty place. It completely broke my heart We were the first to put a hold on her and were told to pick her up Sunday between 2pm-4pm. I immediately fell in love, but my husband was very stern with his "NO WAY we're not getting a 3rd dog" He said he wanted her, but that we just couldn't. He had a point so I stopped trying to beg. Come Sunday, we pick her up at 2pm, and Kristina was going to pick her up from me at 6pm. She was so scared and trembling when we got her. She clinched onto my husband and wouldn't let go We got home and since she was just spayed I didn't think it was a good idea to introduce her to Mya and Kody. Especially Kody who would be going insane to play with her. Hubby said he wanted to just to "see" how they would react. Mya did much better than expected and of course Kody was very intrigued by this new baby. An hour into her being here I called Kristina and said hubby was budging and that if we could keep her for the night to see how it went. She agreed and was laughing at my 100 questions and how I was freaking out She did great last night. This morning I went to get a plastic tray for Mya's old crate, got her a bowl, and some TOTW all stages (hoping to be able to switch them off of CORE so that it's a bit easier on the pocket). Now, the only reason we're not 110% sure if because of our diva, Ms. Mya. She attacked Asia twice today. Once was because she was running after Kody and Mya didn't like that and the second time was worse, when Asia went to smell the grass that Mya was eating. She pinned her down, hubby threw a ball at Mya, and she let her go. Poor Asia was crying for a minute straight. I thought she had really hurt her, but she's fine. Just freaked her out. So, if Mya starts acting better then it's a go. I'll post more on the 3 dogs vs 2 and all of my OTHER concerns, but for right now. Here she is. The sweetest little girl! Following me. I've literally gained a tail now...lol Look at that face!!!! Trying to steal Kody's grass. Little punk lets her rule his life too..lol You can see how little she is, but she's a little chubby girl. Gotta work on that! More to come my computer is going to shut off! Ugh!

| Ok, here are some more. I didn't even know that hubby took these. I was telling her that I wanted to keep her so bad, but that she was going to a good home. Guess not. LOL. Playing with a ball that she immediately became attached to. Thank goodness Mya doesn't care for it. Mya sat there almost all day just watching to see when she could regulate At least she looks beautiful being a Diva. Haha. Ears |

| That picture of Mya is hysterical! She's totally sitting there like "I'm totally above this...". You really do have a diva on your hands She is absolutely gorgeous Melissa, and I really hope everything works out for you guys. I'm so glad you were able to get there first and put the hold on her. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Asia is quite the stunner, I hope Mya starts being a little nicer! I'm sure it'll all work out though, the divas always just take a little longer to deal with these situations (my chihuahua is our Diva). |

She is absolutely gorgeous Melissa, and I really hope everything works out for you guys. I'm so glad you were able to get there first and put the hold on her. Dude, Mya is the definition of a Diva. She's better than the entire world! I love my baby girl, but geez lighten up a bit Asia is the cutest little thing and so smart! She already learned sit and how to back up in her crate and wait until I say she could eat. Took about 5min and she got it. Just have to keep it up. I really hope Mya warms up. Took her a few weeks with Kody and till this day she still rules his life, but she plays with him, cuddles sometimes, etc. If Asia learns that that's just the way it is then we'll fine. I really hope that's the case b/c she loves me! She's so attached already. Follows me everywhere. She's laying at my feet right now even though Ivan picked her up and took her to bed. She came back here. I could deal with the financial burden. We'll figure it out. I can deal with the double walks for a few months, etc, but Mya and her fighting...I just can't. |

Oh! Mel! Now we have 2 twins!! Isn't she just beautiful?! You have to see her in person! You know I was seconds away from calling you today and asking you if you wanted to come down and hang out so that you could meet her and check out how Mya was acting. I didn't because it's a far drive, but dammit I should have!!! Omg, you're so right! This is insane! Cheyenne & Kody, and now Asia and Rodeo. I can't wait for the meet up!!! Or the pack walk which I think is first. Mya REALLY needs to lighten up man!!!! We tried walking all three today and that was a disaster!! I'll get into that tomorrow though. LOL. |

I'd be inclined to say when Ivan took this photo he saw your emotions, ................one heartbeat from tears of joy and sorrow for Asia. Very pretty pup. |
