Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

maybe we will come join you Eddy and Lindsay and try some beer, see what they say with a gang of dogs?

I don't think I would ever dare take all of the dogs. One at a time and probably only Limbaugh or Tambi. It's a super crowded place and too much going on for sled dogs IMO. But, you can still come try beer!

We just got a bakery for dogs named Molly's Dog Bakery. And Molly is always on site, she is a senior black lab. That is here in Camby, Indiana. dogs are welcome there and they sell lil bit of stuff for dogs, collars, leashes, bedding

We just got a new mom & pop pet store here in Graniteville, SC. It is called Bark Mart and has the dog food that you can't buy at Wal-Mart (TotW, Holistic etc.) They also have toys, leashes and a nice selection of crates and whatnots. It is an expansion of the owners grooming business. They are also finishing up a very nice kennel (which will open up early enough for me at 7am). I stopped by just to see if they carried my food since it is much closer then the other store. They weren't open official yet, but they let me bring the pups in and gave me a tour....and I bought a bag of food. Wonderful people.

10 dog friendly stores

5 more dog friendly stores

I thought I would post these links. I was surprised by some of the stores it listed. As it has gotten cold it's been more difficult to get Kenzi the exercise she needs so I've been attempting to find stores I could walk her at. It hasn't been easy since every store around here seems to only cater to little dogs and the larger dogs be damned. Even stores that say "No Pets" in big letters on the front door I've seen people with their little dogs in. If little dogs aren't pets then what are they? Okay, end rant.

I used to work at Lowe's. Worked there for 5.5 years as a manager. We loved people that brought in their well-behaved dogs. I still bring my pups with me when I go visit my old store back home or when I run to the local Lowe's to pick up a few things.

How nice to know. We have a few local owned stores that love to see Maya, but I had no idea so many more may exist, at least until some goof ball ruins it.
