I swaer, no other dog will ever fill the place of Sandy, my heeler. I got her as apup, and we were litterally inseperable form the day i got her. She went with me everywhere, and I mean everywhere. If I could not take her with me, I do dnot go. I have tried to replace the bond me and her had with other pets, but I am doubtfull that will ever happen. I always compare my other dogs to her, and while I have gotten better about it, I do not think the twinge of her being gone will ever truly go away. Uploading pics!

I feel the same way about my Pom, Bayleigh. She was my heart and soul and although I love Kya more than I ever thought I could, Bayleigh will always be my "special" girl.

I'm sorry about your loss, she's a beautiful heeler. It's nice that you have those nice memories of her.

I feel the same way about my greyhounds Dakota and Nellie, but especially Nellie, she was my heartdog!! She had to leave us last June at age 12, she had a cancerous inoperable tumor on her right shoulder, by the time she showed any signs of being ill it had spread to her lungs. She had to be put down and it broke my heart, I cried for days.

Then came my lab Ruby and now Balon they do a nice job at filling the void!
