Feeding Times? Empty
PostSubject: Feeding Times?   Feeding Times? EmptySun Nov 20, 2011 2:21 am

OK Let's see, My Neko and I both wake up around 3-5AM then again around 7-9AM and then depending on my sleepyness again at 10-11AM.

I feed him around 10-11AM.

I work at 3-11PM and have a friend that feeds him around 6-8PM. I come ohme from work and the basement he stays in when I'm gone is filled with about 4-5 piles of poo

Anyway I can reduce this? Or change the times? Or feed him in the morning usually, then have him wait till I get home at 1130PM??

Need help, things aren't going well on days I work....

P.S He is getting so BIG

Pics soon!!!

I know my two generally go poo shortly after eating. Maybe feed him breakfast around the 9 a.m. wakeup and make sure he goes outside at least once before you leave for work. Then when the friend comes to feed him for dinner, make sure they also have him go outside before they leave. I'm not sure if that will alleviate all of it, but it might help...

Judging from my experience from when my pup was 2 months the amount of poops sound right. What I did with my brother was crate train. The way we did it was after feeding put him in the create and wait about 30 min. That way he could process some food withoutgetting an upset stomach. This helped us keep a schedule of sort and prepared us for cleaning. I got used to having to clean up the aftermath. goodluck.

NO NO NO on the free feed idea, if you think 5 piles suck you'll end up with more! Plus you'll have a fat dog to. I'd feed much earlier if you can so Neko has a chance to get outside to do the business. I would think you want to avoid the habit of going on the basement floor as it'll make the house breaking more difficult.

How many times a dog is Neko fed?

He is fed twice a day... one full cup

I fed him at 7AM today and the only time he goes in the house is when I am busy and don't take him out fast enough so those are my fault. But he does well inside.

I take mine out at 6am and they immediately poop, then I feed them 1 cup, and they go out again before I leave to work at 830am. On the mornings that they get walked they'll poop on their walk also. They get taken out around 445pm-515pm (more poop), then get walked (more more poop..lol). They get dinner at 630pm, but they won't poop again until the following morning for the most part.

Walking him before you leave for work might help. They tend to poop more on walks.

Update, so far so good.

I feed him at 7-8AM after our second or third wake up bathroom break... (3AM & or 5AM)

And then again feed him at 2-3PM right before I go into work and He doesn't void any nor much till I get home at 11PM....

Then he goes to bathroom about 1-2 times then it is time for bed. So I think I figured Neko out
