| i feed Jinx? i feed her at the same times i feed Colby but her hip bones are more prominent... i'm not sure if its from her recent diarrhea [that just stopped yesterday] or if i'm under-feeding her... she was real hungry around noon today [breakfast was at 8:15ish] so i gave her some more. i've been watching her ribs and i can only see the last 2 like your supposed to, but i'm still worried.
i did google it and read the food bag, but the answers are either vague or contradicting; 1/2 say 2 times a day, 1/2 say 3... |

| When my two were 3 months old, I was feeding them 1 cup of kibble 3x a day (morning, noon, evening). It also depends on what you're feeding Jinx. I was feeding Iams, but have since learned that there are much better foods out there. If I had been feeding TOTW then, it might not have been as much, but it still would have been 3x a day for those first few months. Sometimes you have to use your own judgement. If Jinx appears underweight and not just lean like all huskies are, the increase the amount you're feeding him. If he winds up with diarrhea again, back off the amount because you're probably overfeeding.
If you look around in the Feeding and Nutrition forum there are a lot of similar posts on this subject. One of them might provide the answer you're looking for. |

| I fed 3x a day until they showed little interest in the middle meal or until they were 6 months old (whichever came first.) _________________ Force Free Training ThreadCheyenne, Mishka, Mickey, Rodeo, & Odin Are you a Husky owner in South Florida?! Join our facebook meetup group! |

| Snow is 2 months and I feed her 3x a day. She gets a cup each feeding and she's on Blue. She looks skinny to me and she almost always eats all of it at each feeding. Can't see her ribs at all so I guess I'm just use to her puppy fat. Aren't huskies lean anyways? |

| I think the number of times a day you feed your pet is personal preference. The amount of food you feed total in a day will depend on what you are feeding, how active Jinx is, and how old Jinx is.
If you let us know what you're feeding, how active, how tall, how old and what is the current weight, we'll be able to guide you better. _________________ |

| shes 3 1/2 months old, 20 lbs, i feet Neutro Naurals but shes been on a wet food deal since the vet visit about the diarrhea issue. However, yesterday was 1/2 wet, 1/2 dry, and today all dry. I give one cup per sitting [once in morning, once at night]. When it was the wet food, it was 3/4 can per sitting and the 1/2 dry 1/2 can wet for the mix.
Shes pretty active, [compared to Colby] and every day when i get home at 8am, we go out for a quick 10 minute walk to go potty, they eat, i give a 1/2 hr for it to settle, then a 45 minute walk/potty time, then they play for an hour or so in the kitchen, we go for a 20 minute bike ride, i get some sleep, wake up, 10 minute potty time, they eat, 1/2 hr for food to settle, 45 minute walk, play time in the kitchen, one more 10 minute potty before i go to work. this routine exhausts Colby but Jinx is always ready for more, more, more.
On my days off, the time schedule stays the same, but instead of being in the kitchen while i sleep, we go to my moms house and they hang out in the back yard with her lab mix... |

| Balon is a little over 3 1/2 months old, he is 27 lbs and eats 1 cup 3 x a day so 3 cups total. He is lean but not skinny. He eats all the food, sometimes he is still looking for more so I give him a little more! |
