| The therapy dog agency that Frankie "works" for had a professional photographer come do a pro bono photo shoot. My dog is such a ham we had to go

| Not sure why I couldn't do all the pics in one post, but oh well this worked too. I think my favorite is the first one. |

| He's is SO handsome!
From what I understood, CGC is the first level of certification to get to therapy dog certification? So Frankie is also therapy dog certified? If so, that is AWESOME! And we're going to try to get Ginger CGC and therapy dog certified.

| Excellent photos! I think Frankie's one of the most attractive therapy dogs I've seen...although I do have a husky bias. _________________ |

We did both with Frankie. Most therapy dog agencies require CGC cert first. Some will do a TD temperment testing, but will not certify as a TD until CGC is completed. While there is some overlap, the two test are looking at different things and the CGC covers the basic obedience stuff. The TD testing we did also looks at how the dog handles being around equipment (walkers/wheelchairs), very loud sounds, extreme and sudden movements, pulls/tugs etc. since most environments will be extremely overstimulating and they want to ensure the dogs can handle it. They care as much about our dogs as they do the people we serve. I personally would steer clear of a therapy dog agency that did NOT require CGC testing for their dogs. I have seen some unruly pups in the nursing home from other agencies and it's really not cute. It would make me question their credibility. Good Luck if you decide to do the testing! Both were very proud moments for me and Frankie. |

Thank you......Of course I think he's the prettiest in our group, but I am biased too. He's the only Husky in our TD agency and the residents at the nursing home LOVE him. Although they think he's too pretty to be a boy. In the photo album he sticks out like a sore thumb since he's in the middle of a bunch of goldens, lol |

Good Luck if you decide to do the testing! Both were very proud moments for me and Frankie. That's what I thought! I saw the TD testers and testing requirements in the Denver/South Denver areas do require CGC, so thought I'd ask....Thanks! I have NO doubt that Frankie is the MOST attractive TD in your group!! (...but like Val, I have a husky bias!) _________________ |

| Fun pictures!
I think Storm would plunge into water if he had the chance...Ginger, on the other hand, will walk in very dainty until she's all in. _________________ |

| LOL, Ginger is such a lady. We can't get Bruiser in for that same reason. He will go in the water at the lake where he can slowly walk in. We don't have stairs to get into the pool, only the ladder in the deep end. Once Frankie learned how to get in and out there is no keeping him out of the pool ( i knew there would be a catch in training him to get in the pool). We actually had to put up another fence in the yard to separate the pool area so he doesn't go in when we don't want him to. He takes awhile to dry off so it wasn't much fun in the mornings before going to work. |

| That looks like such much fun! Frankie's a pro! LOL! Mya would LOVE to have a pool. She goes NUTS for the hose and the kiddy pool that we have for her. Kody, on the other hand...not so much..LOL! |

| It use to amaze me that Mylo, would run in the water upon sight. Adobo up until recently would only enter the water up to her "lady parts" but now that she is 5 years young she jump in like Mylo use to. Biko he's the water wuss now and is barely willing to get wet up to his knee joints. I'm assuming that when he matures a bit more then he'll be a diver like Mylo was and Adobo is now. |

| Love all the photos especially the ones of him jumping into the pool! Hopefully all that running, jumping and swimming tires him out? _________________ |
