It's up to you Smile I wouldn't do more than one egg per day really, but I don't think there's a huge harm with two eggs a day here or there.

Are you doing this to try and entice her to eat or just to mix it up a little? If you're enticing her to eat, I would suggest also trying plain yogurt, or some grated cheese so that you're not feeding the same thing every meal. All these things are healthy to have on a daily basis. Everything in moderation though Smile

thank you very much! I'll try the raw egg first. I've been feeding my female pup with only pure kibbles since I got her.

There's nothing wrong with just plain kibble unless she isn't eating. Not sure if you're having that problem? Either way, you can't go wrong with those additives, so good luck! Smile

I would ease into the egg if I were you. Start with one egg and see how she does. It's rich and can give some dogs who are not used to it diarrhea or soft stool. If she does well then offer another a day or two later and you can continue to offer it if she does well. If she does seem to be sensitive you may have to build her up to it in smaller amounts but it will really depend on the individual. You can also give her the shell for added calcium, ground up egg shell is great for them and can help firm up their stool. Smile

Huskies just don't like kibble. Smile That's my opinion. They like real food. Lilly, at 9 yr old, has never eaten kibble with gusto but she won't hesitate to chow down on chicken, steak, liver, rice, yogurt, cottage cheese, peanut butter, cheddar cheese.......you see, real food. I feed Orijen or Canidae but I often have to put a little something special in Lilly's food.
Lilly also will not eat when overly stressed. When we brought my son home from the hospital, she didn't eat with any regularity for weeks. I would have to go in the kitchen and hand feed her. She's always done this when she's not receiving enough attention.
I wouldn't worry overmuch as a dog is not going to purposely starve himself to death. As long as he/she has plenty of energy, is brighteyed and bushytailed, no reason to worry. Give them a bit of something extra periodically.
You can also make a game of eating by using a dispenser ball. You put the kibble inside and they roll it around for the kibble to drop out. Do be careful of this if you have multiple dogs. Maybe put one in another room while one plays with their food.
