Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. | Yes its been so long since Ive checked the forum, we have had so much to do! But thought you guys might want a little update Dexter is growing, a lot! He is almost not a puppy anymore (sad, isnt it? Better get another husky soon!) 6½ months old 6 months old He is doing really well, and we have yet to have any real big problemes with him! He can be home alone, without howling, he walk on leash without pulling, and he still comes when we call him whenever he is off leash! We have started to teach him quite a few tricks, as he is very smart and loves to learn new stuff! So now he can spin, and danse Well this was just a little update on our husky Dexter, since its been way too long since we where inhere last! [img][/img] |

He weighs around 44-47 lbs, at 6½-7 months old. And this is the guy who was waaaay too little when he was 12 weeks old (He was 13 lbs or so as far as I remember, and suppose to be 26 acoring to the vet) |

| I think that full size pic just makes him look bigger than he really is. He's growing up beautifully! |

| i can't get over that tongue in the first one! please remember as well as he is doing off leash he is getting to the 8 month and older rebellion stage of a husky, just keep that in mind, don't want to you pop on here one day and say he took off from you.
thanks for the update and please stick around more and give us more pics of your handsome boy! _________________ |

| yeah, we know.. Soon he wont be listening anymore... We have a few tricks we use... if he is a bit tired, and he plays with other dogs he gets off leash... Otherwise he is always on leash... And we have very few pictures where he doesnt have the tongue hanging out |

| Floppy tongue syndrome good to see Biko isn't the only one like that. His tongue starts flopping about 1/4 mile into a walk. |
