Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! | What would cause your furbaby to throw up their food 1.75 hours after they've eaten when the food they ate was the typical meal, and they weren't outside eating strange things, nor were they playing right after they ate? Ginger threw up her lunch.... They have been 'lethargic' the past few days but it's also been more warm, so I figured all the laying around the house during the day was from the heat. They will get playful early evening, and in fact, yesterday early evening, they went out to play and there was a lot of humping going on! So I would assume their energy level is 'normal'. _________________ |

| I only feed raw at dinner, so she had THK with a little Orijen topper which is what she tossed up.

| Huh. Nikolai and Sid have been pukey too. Nikolai because he's nervous with another dog around his food, and Sid because he's got a blockage in his stomach. One of Sid's "bounced" meals was about 2 hours after he ate...
ETA: Poor Ginger. I hope she's feeling much better soon! |

| Could be the heat or if she drank water too fast. Could be a lot of things actually so I wouldn't really worry about it unless it is ongoing. _________________ |

| Hmm...I hope it's NOT some blockage! Thanks Val....that eases me some! She doesn't drink water too fast - That's Storm. She pooped earlier today, and she hasn't been left alone to where should could have eaten something I'm not aware of...and she appears to be eathing normally and she's taking treats just fine... Hopefully, it's just this one time thing! _________________ |

| My experience leads me to believe you might see one or two more "sessions" (personally I'll go two days before worrying if all other vitals are in line). I've always assumed it was the heat since it only happens around this time of year. |

| Yeah, I'm gonna go with one time thing. Sid upchucked three times, three consecutive meals, before we figured out what was up with him. |

| Claudia, i freaked out our first summer as well cause Jack gets really bothered by the heat, he upchucked a few times and stopped eating. i think it was the help of this forum that let me know it was a heat thing in the summer _________________ |
