Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! | We have a husky mix puppy 11 months that we had as a pup. We decided to foster/adopt a 2 year old husky female. They get along great and play with each other. The male is a chewer and usually has bones to chew and toys but they are having issues sharing. I'm hoping time will be the answer. Should I get new bones for her so she has her own? |

| Don't get you hopes too high that they'll share - that doesn't seem to be in a dogs nature. I have two who will chew on the same 'plastic bone' but otherwise "what's mine is mine and what yours is mine too" seems to be the nature of my two.
Regrettably, if you get bones that are 'just hers' you'll probably find the one who is more dominant has them all. _________________ “Properly trained, a man can be dog’s best friend.” Corey Ford . |

| Like Al, we have a game here. It's called "two dogs, two bones, I want your bone." |

| In my house its 3 dogs , 6 bones and usually someone has all 6. That said shadow has his squeaky bone, spider has kong sqeak tennis balls and splinter has a tuffy tiger shark and those they each keep to themselves except when the shark gets used for tug of war.
Sometimes squirt steals their stuff and brings it back into her bedroom. She has her own stuff back there but its whats yours is mine and whats mine is mine.
So yes get more bones or whatever and maybe get some other things also that are more interactive. |
