My cat of 12 years, he would be 13 on feb. 27 passed away on the 7th of this month. He had a stomach tumor. I though he had a bacterial infection
and it wasn't healing right. So when he went to the vet they did an X-ray and he had a tumor. The dogs in particular the husky despite thought to be a not cat friendly breed he was sticking sometimes. Or trying to tell we separated because the cat was being a little grump. I thought he was just trying to be friends with him...Now I why he was doing that.

It's so hard when any family member - four legged or two legged - passes on.  I'm sorry for your loss ... and I wish there were a way of saying that that doesn't sound trite.
Sure wish they had some way of "talking" - I know, we can read signs but sometimes they just don't mean as much as someone being able to say "Dad, this stomach ache just won't go 'way ..."

I have two huskies and one cat.  They're a real trip to watch,  the cat will aggravate the dogs and then they'll get even (and it's all play.)  I saw her (the cat) nibbling on Avalanches ear a while back and he put up with it, then he turned his head and 'snapped' at her....  ain't love grand.

So sorry for your loss. Cats and stomach/GI things can be so hard to catch and are all too prevalent.
