Very nice! Especially love Jack lifting his head to take a reading of the wind.

Ruins are at Mt. Falcon.

i just put the booties on and make them walk in them! they have to put their feet down at some point lol!
i shop dogbooties.com love them, cheap so when they fall off i don't care to much.

Why do you put boots on your pups? I have 2 young Siberian’s we hike a lot and haven’t had any issues with the feet....is it for injury protection or more so for cold? Just curious! Thanks

I see most mushers do it?
I think it has something to do with their paws getting frozen when running in snow.
They sweat through their paws, so ice can form on their feet, and also they don't have fur protecting their paws.

My dog walks/plays happily in snow without booties, but we're only out for less than an hour. I think if longer, he might get uncomfortable.

oh, and beautiful photos!!

i have mushers secret and find even using that they still end up with ice balls that stick to the bottom of their feet. the booties just make life easier on both of us! no snow balls on feet and my hands don't get cold melting said snow balls off their feet.
in the summer i will use them if we are on really rocky areas with talus. the feet do get sore with long days and booties protect them.
we are out for long days most of the time.
i do not use booties for walks around the neighborhood with snow.
