Off leash play time at the local dog park; she found the perfect distraction.  Broken sprinkler....

Ha ha!

How do you clean off a face like that?!
I don't think I have ever washed my dog above his neck...horrible I know...but he just doesn't like me spraying water around his face. Ditto for the cat, and the guinea pigs...none of them ever got bathed above the top of their neck!

I don't know about anyone else but when mine get looking that bad they get to stay out till they dry off - at least mostly dry. What I have noted is that a the mud dries, they'll start "washing" (just like a cat) the dry mud off - I'm guessing that as it gets dry and stiff it gets irritating and they want it off. And ... as with most things Husky ... they're self cleaning (most of the time.)

Ha ha!Very Happy I don't even want to imagine what Squirt smells like/looks like. She probably thinks she smells wonderful.

Yea, I know I'm weird...but it just bothers me that I've never washed the top of my dog's head since I got him! I actually think about it every once in a while...

Oh yes I've been there. Had to use the hose to clean her off. Luckily it all sprayed right out but Tali wasn't a big fan.

Funny thing about our Huskies, they absolutely love mud puddles and running through the small streams around our place. HATE the bath tub, and panic if i make any attempt to get them into the swimming pool.

Everything MUST be on their terms...

We give our girls allergy and immune salmon treats to help keep their coats nice and shiny.

You be the judge, do you think they like them?

Squirt LOVES water. She loves it so much she almost jumped off a bridge 2 weeks ago to play in the waterfall. But mine are kinda prissy and dont like mud... particularly squirt. I also dont think she has ever seen a swimming pool. I took spider to tucker ponds 2 years ago and tried to get her in the water. Shes just not a water dog.

@Charliecapaldi - vet visit? some offer first exams for free...is she full husky? ears look big! re"going for you" - be careful. Should get better if she gets to know you better...try offering/dropping some treats whenever you are near her...

@Rocky_Rhodes - sooo cute!! I think they like those treats...!!

So for 1 the dog is either really underweight or has some wolf/coyote dna. Without knowing the background its gonna take some time. I would go to the vet about the vomiting. I could be stress or the food or she could be sick. And if shes sick then you wont know what hef real personality is

Yep at the bare minimum, she should get a rabies shot!
For public safety...(since you don't know when her last one was?)
