Hello I’m very new to this website!!  my husky Skye has just had a litter of pups!! She’s had 8 the pups and her are all heathly!! What I was hoping is that maybe you guys could help me determine what color they are? Mum Skye is a pure white husky, Dad is a brown husky. 4 of the pup seam to be jet black with grey on there cheeks and chest. And I’m guessing the other pups are agouti/sable? 

I don't do Husky pups, mine are all spayed / neutered, but I'd think it safe to say that you won't *really* know what colour they are until they're a month (or maybe more) old. Huskies, in general, tend to change fur colour as they grow up. No, you won't see a black pup turn white - but you might have either one of them end up silver grey ...

I'm guessing now but I think I see a couple of black/silver in there and a couple of reds (going strictly by nose color)

I know they can change color and that they go more white on there face, but I’ve never seen a black pup with no white on its face what’s so ever! Just a little grey.

Spider went from dark grey to almost white before her real colors started to show. Squirt was brown with a black nose until she lost the puppy coat, and she still changes shades for the season.

Yes I know they tend to go lighter around 6-8 months then back dark again, they are a fascinating breed I’m such a huge fan!! Her pups  are just  unusual colours:)

You are absolutely certain there was no accidental exposure to a non husky?

Agouti you won't know until their goats happened are in, there are 3 bands of color in agouti.

Yes I’m 110% positive she only mated with a husky, I posted this on  some other websites and a few people have said that the black with grey may turn out like this. 

The one that is to the right of the black pup in your second picture might have a dirty face as it ages more similar to the adult image you posted. All the rest will likely put white on and have more standard masks. Just too young to say right now. Taking a loose guess I would say you will have one black and white and the others will end up being wolf greys.

A update on how the pup turned out, we had 4 agouti 2 sable, 1 black and white, and one mostly black:) all are healthy and so is mum!

They are so gorgeous! We are keeping 2. In the bottom picture the really black one is a girl and she’s called Storm, and the Sable in the bottom picture with the more masked faced we are Keeping him and he’s name is Apollo:)
