I use the easywalk harness with Faolan and it has definitely reduced the strength of his pull. He still walks all the way to the end of the leash but my arm is no longer being yanked out of socket. The harness in-store cost $25 but I bet you can find it cheaper online. We use a medium with Faolan and he's somewhere around 55lbs. I used that harness as well. He would pull a little with it but really not at all. I left it on him for a little after one of our walks and he chewed it off . Can anyone recommend a similar front hook harness? I really liked it but it didn't look to fit real well on him. Also I finally got my Alpine Outfitters harness. Only took a few months. It looks real comfortable and fits him great! Just for grins, he loves the A/C |

I purchased one EZ walk harness for Blaze I ended up making a second one that I use with Kerian. The EZ walk does get costly when the chew them up |

If your going to the meet up on Saturday, I am like the only owner that actually does bikejoring. You can talk to me, I can teach you the commands.
http://www.nordkyn.com/ Yes teach me, I need equipment. I am just asking to die, I put the leash over my handle bars nor do I wear safety gear, its just not fun unless you are cheating death ya know? |

I took some pictures of the harness I made on Kerian I will try and post them later today. I changes the front hook up because it really did not work right for me. |

| I also love the Knot-A-Leash, but I had to put a swivel claw on the end, since the carabiner didn't swivel.
Anyone use the Canadog X-Harnesses? I'm looking for the absolute hardcore/best/strongest/ballistic for pulling on longboard. I saw one in a store once, and it had something inside the webbing, like dense foam padding. It was SO nice, but they only had one, and it didn't fit and I can't remember the brand. |

The Alpine Outfitters harness I got would be fine for the longboard. It is very well made and seems soft enough on the inside to not hurt him. I also picked up a Wiggles Wags & Whiskers Freedom No-Pull Harness kit. He did real well with the last front hook harness so I knew it would work. Pulling on walks has stopped again. This harness is well made too. Way more heavy duty then the one I got from Petsmart. The chest strap is very soft too, he is spoiled haha. The connection on the top though doesn't faze him. It is supposed to stop the pulling by squeezing around his chest but he doesnt care. Also the leash is a joke, don't bother with it if you have a good one already. With Prime, Amazon is the cheapest I found: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005OQ34UI/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00 The SENSE-ation front clip harness has great reviews and that would have been my second choice for a front clip type harness. |

| We use the wiggles, wags and whiskers as well. It does great for the pups, most of the time I have them on the timberwolf two-dog leash, so I don't worry about the leash, but we have the 1" Thick Leashes, so they actually work great. If you go their website you can find a much better selection of colors and widths. It's really nice because the harness is like a martingale collar, only harness style! |

I started with a harness almost immediately with Ghost, when she was about 11 weeks. I haven't bought any custom ones yet, because she is still growing, but we have gone through a couple of adjustable ones. I actually bought a size medium, adjusted it to it's smallest, and then sewed a couple of loops in it to make it smaller. That lasted for several months, and actually still fit but was wearing out. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. We bought the $9.99 ones at Target - so you can buy one now and then a new one when he reaches his full size. If the old one is still ok, you can donate it to a rescue! |

| New here, and I have Malamutes rather than Huskies, but I can highly recommend the Alpine Outfitters harness! Nice and padded to prevent chafing but not over done.
We also have a Palisades pack/harness by Ruff Wear. It works good and is a great system. However, I did have a Roamer Leash fail at the plastic buckle. Great idea but not very secure for a very strong dog or especially an easily spooked rescue such as we had. Now we use a different belt and leash setup.
