You sound like my husband. He's not a fan of red on the pups. Or in general for that matter. I like it, but he totally doesn't. The webmaster comes in black as well So, I think we're going with the webmaster after all. I need to measure them when I get home, but I'm thinking a medium should be about right. Opinions? Mya weighs 55lbs and Kody should be at the 50 mark already. http://www.ruffwear.com/Web-Master-Harness?sc=2&category=1131 |

| I have one WebMaster but 3 dogs. So when I'm not doing Canicross or other pulling I use this one by Kurgo Tru-fit. It is easier to get on and off for travel, no pulling over the head and the legs through.

Mountain Ridge http://www.mtnridge.com has good X-back harnesses for a pretty decent price. I have never used them myself but I know many competitive racers who use them and are very satisfied. Black Ice sells the X-back and the Yukon harness which is good for "odd" shaped dogs. (I use one for my GSD for bikejoring) http://www.blackicedogsledding.com I know of a lot of recreational mushers who love the Urban Trail harness from Alpine Outfitters. http://alpineoutfitters.net/Secure/scripts/prodList.asp?idCategory=16 Sled Dog Central also has a list of equipment suppliers. http://www.sleddogcentral.com/equip_supplies.htm Over all, I think the cheapest yet most comfortable harness is a well padded X-back. It's the most popular harness in the racing world. I use them myself and love them. |

What size if your WebMaster? It's a large for my big boy 85lbs. It works on my smallest 55lb boy but I have it cinched all the way and it's a bit little loose. |

| I have used Nordkyn harnesses with all my huskies after they were recommended to me by a sled dog racer. I have been very happy with them. They will answer all your questions if you call and custom sew alterations. Their website is- http://www.nordkyn.com/ Bodhi is in a Nordkyn Recreation Harness with cinch band. I like this harness because I can put his pack over it.; it's not restrictive and he can't back out. Here's the harness without the dog- |

| We have the EZ harnesses. We use them to bike with the Walky Dog, but looking to get new harnesses. The EZ seems to pinch a bit under their front legs. The Alpine harnesses are padded all over, so I think they might be more comfortable for them (EZ only has the chest plate with paddding...the rest is just nylon webbing) |

| The webmaster has worked great for biking with the pups!!!! Now I need another harness for little Ms. Asia! Actually, might need prongs for her already! I feel bad though. Think she still needs to grow a little before using the prongs. She pullllsssssssss and chokes herself with the martingale collar that she has There was a harness that supposedly helps with pulling, but I don't remember the name!!! Sam/Mindy...where are you? |

There was a harness that supposedly helps with pulling, but I don't remember the name!!! Sam/Mindy...where are you? If I can make a suggestion Melissa, this harness has been AMAZING for Delilah and she can't back out of it. I recommend it. (we use it with both hooks on the back ring. It doesn't hurt but it tights when they pull, which they cant stand. Delilah has a pink one, Cato has a red one. http://www.amazon.com/Freedom-No-Pull-Harness-Training-Package/dp/B005OPZYMA/ref=sr_1_1?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1335989093&sr=1-1 On another note:http://www.amazon.com/Timberwolf-Alpine-Rope-2-Dog-~Red~/dp/B003VBUOKG/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1335989003&sr=8-7 Anyone know if this will work? I would love a coupler. |

Anyone know if this will work? I would love a coupler. Harness looks like it just might work for Asia! Worth a try since it's not too much $ and I have 2 gift cards from Amazon! Now the question is what size to get. She weighed 24 lbs and measures 22 inches. If I get the small I'm afraid she'll grow out of quick and if I get the medium I'm afraid it might be too big. Small: Chest - 20"-24"; Neck - 10"-14"; Weight - 18-25 lbs. Medium (5/8" width): Chest - 24"-28"; Neck - 14"-18"; Weight - 25-40 lbs. |

| So would you guys say the webmaster is the best one if I have a pup? Will it be best to accommodate the growing so I don't have to keep buying new ones? |

| I have a medium Palisades Pack that utilizes the Webmaster Harness to clip the packs on. The medium harness fits my 50 lb female on the tightest adjustment, and it will fit my 73 lb male with a little room to spare. The pack is a little baggy on my female and hangs a bit low for her, so I use the pack for my male.
The Webmaster harness is good - as it has a handle on it that I can use to lift my 50 lb female with one arm if I have to carry her on a hike over rocks or logs or anything. If you plan to do a little hiking, I'd recommend you get the Palisades pack which gives you the harness and dog packs which is SO much easier to deal with because you can leave the packs off going to and coming back from the hike in the car vs. having to put a loaded pack on your pup when you get there.
If your pup is close to a year, you could easily get get a pack that will have room for her to grow into.

| Thanks Megan!
I love the webmaster, but we've only used it for biking and the camping trip. I don't walk them in harnesses b/c they pull like crazy dogs. It's real sturdy though and seems more comfy then others I've seen. |

Oops, i didn't see this post until now. It's a great harness and worked with the pulling for the first few days, but she got used to it quickly. This dog I tell you! I'm going to get her the prong collar like the other two and just use the harness for running. |

| After trying tons of different collars and harnesses I'm kinda surprised to find that the $10 walmart harness actually made Blitz stop pulling! I was in complete shock when I saw this. We originally bought it just to have him in when we tie him out so he isn't trying to slip out of a collar, but when I took him on a walk with it when we were waiting for our house hold good to be shipping from the military he was an absolute gentlemen on the walk with it! I absolutely love it. It's super soft so it's comfy on him and if it gets ruined it's only $10 to replace! We have had it for 3 months now and it still is in great condition. |

He still walks all the way to the end of the leash but my arm is no longer being yanked out of socket. The harness in-store cost $25 but I bet you can find it cheaper online. We use a medium with Faolan and he's somewhere around 55lbs. |
