Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I've really hopped onto the forum. As some of you know, my pup Lycus had some serious separation anxiety when I moved out from home and took him with me. He's currently living with my mom at the moment and my husband and I are living in Germany.

While here, we decided we really wanted to have a dog again so we decided to get a new pup.

Her name is Ocha. She's currently close to 5 months old and about 25lbs. She came from a breeder in Hungary. She's a bit shy when it comes to meeting new people and dogs but is quickly coming around.

Once we're back in the USA, were going to try and take in Lycus again but with a companion and a house with a yard, not just apartment this time and see if we can make it work since we miss having him like crazy.

Anyways, here are a few pictures of our new demon.

Hi Rocio - nice to hear from you. Your new pup is beautiful. Enjoy your European adventures. Hope everything works out with Lycus once you're back in the states.

Ich hab gewundert wo sie sint! Sint sie militarisch??

Okay, that's enough of showing my bad bad German!! It's great to hear from you. I always wonder what I said that chased someone away (tongue in cheek) and that bottom picture is so typically Husky!

OH wow Rocio, she is gorgeous! I love that face! Congratulations! I know it's hard for you being without Lycus, but this little girl will be a tremendous help, AND Lycus has a baby sister now! Smile

Thanks, everyone!

Al, I'm not going to lie, I'm not sure what the first part of your German sentence says lol. But yes, my husband is military which is why we're in Germany.

I've been taking some German learning courses while I'm here but it's definitely not that good just yet lol.

And thanks Amy. I hope things work out well with Lycus. Ocha is such a sweetheart I know they'll get along great.
