| So... I went ahead and ordered a harness and gangline to take Koda bikejoring. It finally arrived today and I couldn't wait to try them out.
HE LOVES IT! I tested it all out real quick and he only tried to run off the road/path once when a butterfly flew in front of him! LOL. I was barely an attempt.
I can't wait to train him more and get into it. I loved going with him! _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| We went out again this morning and it was awesome. He's a little slow to get started at times, but once we get going it's like cruise control! He's already taking to the mushing commands. I wish ALL training were this easy I love taking him As soon as I can get someone to take pictures, I will. _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| Awww I want to do this too! I asked hubby for a bike and walky dog for my bday next month! I'm scared that i'll end up on the floor all scratched up ,but I'll give it a try..lol. I already busted my butt jogging with Kody the other day. He decided to stop right in front of me to smell the ground and I tripped over him. Flat on my face! Got the wind knocked out of me and 2 huge scraps on my knees (ouch!!!). I put one hand down so that I wouldn't hit my face and held on to his leash with the other. Ughhh! lol |

| Melissa, Sorry you fell. It's kind of an occupational hazard running with huskies. But you can minimize your risk with a long leash. Mine's ten feet long, plus the harness is a couple feet. If Bodhi stops to sniff a squashed squirrel, I can jump out of the way. Most of the time.
My bike-y friends say when you fall, you are supposed to try to land on your glutes and roll. I just haven't managed this acrobatic manueuver yet. |

Whatever you do, don't land on your palms!!! That's how I shoved my wrist bones up into my arm and broke the top bone. My son did the same thing when he was much younger. He fell off his bike and landed on his palms and broke both arms! |

I would try the long leash, but unfortunately i can't do that in this area. There too many people in the park and walking dogs. I have to keep them semi close to me because they will go up to EVERYBODY. I really wish we had free space to run and they can be way ahead of me =( |

| Yep, had to have surgery and now I have a metal plate and 8 screws in my left arm and wrist. You can bet I will never land on my hands again! |
