I am in the process of getting a Malamute like in the photo.  Can't wait to get Him

Does anyone on thus forum have a intrest in paw smelling?
It all started I ordered some dog boots and my dad made me a joke saying they will smell
Looked on the internet as a joke but ended up reading about people likeing the smell of dog paws.  I then asked people I know and they all said the same that they heard of it
Does anyone on here like the smell of there husky/Malamutes paws

Never thought about it so I guess I wouldn't say that I like the smell of their feet. Their feet usually smell like dirt. Now if people are smelling their dogs paws and liking it because they smell sweeter or something then their dogs have a problem with yeast more than likely. Smells tell a lot about a dog's health so when you are smelling your dog regardless of whether you like the smell or not it's important to think about what that smell could mean.

Well, I used to hate dog smell!!

But now I associate dog smell with Rumo. We had to board him while we drove to my daughter's music event over the weekend, and the smell of his blankie in the car when I moved it, made me miss him. Is that why people like the smell of their dogs' paws, I wonder? It's like the smell of a loved one...

I don't think the smell is attractive in itself. It's certainly not like perfume, or something!
