| Oh wow, that is a great picture! Beautiful! I love Grant's bone structure, his face/head is just perfect. Beautiful eyes too, he's very handsome. Awesome job on the picture, the tree, the open book, the little stuffie, all so perfect. I look forward to the next pics!!! |

| Thanks, Jimmy. I wish I'd used my DSLR, but I'll break out the heavy equipment for outdoor shots soon. Grant's mom was gorgeous and it seems her regal poses are in his DNA. |

| You didn't need the DSLR, this pic is great! Very cool setting. Can't wait to see your outdoor shots with him and the DSLR though!
Yes, he is definitely regal. Perfect ears too. He's stunning. |

| Thank you for the vote of confidence, Jimmy. But if I were shooting for print publication in my paying job...haha I'm basically sacrificing quality for content, as Grant is quite used to me pointing my phone at him. It's hard enough to get a high energy Husky to sit still and not eat the props!
Thanks, and Grant just looks like all his breeder's dogs--I think there is a look to her Huskies. He was supposed to be a girl, as an example of how I'd take any dog she gave me, honestly. As it is, Sophia is the only girl in the litter I waited for, so whatever she's like (alpha female?), I already love her.
I enjoy learning all the personalities through the Husky photos and stories. Your two are, again, fairytale-like. I'm excited to find them throughout the calendar!

| Thanks, Ronin. He looks like his lineage, but I am pretty partial to him because he belongs with me. And Jimmy, I will have to bring my A game to participate with such awesome photographers here! |

| Awwww, so pretty...Huskies and Christmas just fit. This is such a pretty pic. Is this a water fountain?
Kohdi and Mishka share a little with Grant in that both have Karnovanda predominantly in their lines. Troika was the other, and where I think their fluff comes from. You really can't do much better than Karnovanda, I've always liked innesfree as well. |

| Yes, a marble foundation with an interesting history. Speaking of which I thought I recognized some Karnovanda in your Mishka and Kohdi. I know Innesfree, but had to look up Troika. After rescuing for years, we went through heartbreak with my son's first Corgi. We looked for a reputable breeder for his second, and he took her to college, and now his first own home and job. We always wanted Huskies, but as an empty-nester, I finally had the time and schedule. Karnovanda just seemed a safe bet for a healthy pup. Later I may rescue again, but having Grant has been the most amazing experience... He has enough of the wild to live with me in the "wilderness", but maintains his showdog tradition, too. Haha! |

| LOL, cute pic! Mishka does this! It's not a hug though, haha. She picks on Kohdi and when he finally tries to get her back, she hides between my legs taking "sucker punches" at him, LOLOL To the post above...I originally had to look up Troika too I was pretty shocked though how much of Troika is in how my two look. I personally think Kohdi looks more Troika than Mishka, even though Kohdi has more Karnovanda in him than Mishka, haha. Mishka's head and size are more Karnovanda to me though. |

| I can't wait to see interactions between two Huskies. You're blessed with Mishka and Kohdi: 2 gorgeous and happy playmates!
Have you seen Judy's latest? Their masks are really interesting and I'm learning a lot about the different markings of the breed--so much variation! |

| Chris, you will never stop smiling watching your two. From their playing, to their cuddle moments to their teaming up together, you'll just smile and be in awe of it all. Having two is all I've ever known, however, my last two huskies passed away two weeks apart from each other so when I got Kohdi, I didn't already have an existing husky here for the first time and Kohdi would be by himself for a full year. It's still amazing, don't get me wrong, but getting Mishka opened up a whole other side to Kohdi. Without losing anything! He's the same funny, sweet, carefree clown he always was, but there's like a new dimension to him now that only enhances his personality. Mishka is a good match to him too. Not gonna lie, once I knew I was getting Mishka, I worried. Kohdi is my boy! I didn't want to "take anything from him", from the life he knew, so far. I didn't want him to change. I actually had tears the closer the day came to picking up Mishka. It didn't change him though, in the way I had feared. It enhanced all that was Kohdi. It's pretty awesome! They each set their own boundaries, they each push each other's boundaries, LOLOL, and it's so sweet, so funny, so loving, you just smile and laugh...and sometimes pull your hair out, hahaha. I really can't imagine Kohdi ever being alone again. OMG, mask variation! In looking up Troika, I took it further like I always do, lol. I started entering names of Kohdi's lineage. I found so many of them too! Kohdi looks a lot like his father, looks nothing like his grandfather (a dark red) but is the spitting image (right down to his mask) of his great grandfather! The resemblance is amazing! It's so weird that so many generations can pass and yet a pup can look almost exactly like a pup way further down the line! I did the same with Mishka, didn't find as many, but those I found were all her size, the smaller end, all had her pretty little head/face .they all had this specific little something that told me, yeah, this is Mishka's family. But hey, sorry about taking up so much space in Grant's scrapbook talking about my dogs! I'll stop! now you just gotta post more pics |

| I thought you might be, I know how it felt for me. Everything I said is true though, one day you will look back and think, "what was I worried about?!" and you won't be able to picture a life without both of them. Grant is going to love having a sister And Happy Birthday Grant!!! Looks like he had an awesome day, love the Husky cookie! Great pic of Grant with Santa...I think Petsmart coulda chose a bit more jolly a dude though! |

| I see what you mean, Amy, thanks. Always frustrated with how his dark eyes disappear into his mask, but so it is with a phone camera and brown eyes, haha! Kind of think he looks like a dog the Munsters would have with his widow's peak mask and Bride of Frankenstein fur behind his ears. |

| Yes, Jimmy, Santa was not jolly after Grant refused his treats but kissed the photographer on the face and took her proffered biscuit enthusiastically. He was all, "whoever you are, I don't want to sit by you." I was surprised the photo turned out at all. Thanks for the birthday wishes! |

| Grant's Secret Santa video. He loves everything, which is quite an accomplishment with this picky boy, so thank you so much, Secret Santa! And the ball of his freshly washed fur (thanks to a digging debacle) fur is on the tree. Haha So awesome.
