She sounds so much like Mishka, as much as Grant sounds like Kohdi!!! Mishka is one super tough cookie, LOL. And I remember some of those "accidental" experiences as well. Good thing puppies are so flexible, lol.

I'm watching Sophia for bites and resource guarding, not Grant. Had them both at the office and she defended her bed a bit, but she was tethered. I offered to tether Grant, too, but he decided to go lay by the door instead. Haha

Mishka was a bit possessive as well, and in turn, I think turned Kohdi into a resource guarder. I had to coax that trait back out of Kohdi. You will see, as they grow together, they work that part out themselves. Sometimes it's cute, sometimes you will think they're gonna give you s heart attack, lol, but they do work it out.

I corrected the photos to the cropped versions. It's so weird how they post sideways from my phone. I'm usually so lazy about editing them, kind of like I'm lazy about not using my DSLR. Oh, well...

Yeah, I was re-watching a Patricia McConnell conference (I'm a behaviorist nerd) and she mentioned not spaying the only female of a litter until after two cycles because they can be more competitive (at least that's what I took from it, with the echo-y audio).

Sophia is a very assertive little girl, while Grant just sort of knows he's king of the four-leggers. Should be interesting! But I'm the mom, so everyone has to do what I say. Haha

They are a great looking pair. Love the flowers pic, so pretty. Mishka has always had an obsession with flowers...in the time it'd take to push the button on the camera, I think Mishka woulda pulled out a few stems already, lol.

Staying cool in the pool.

Such cute pictures. Sometimes I wish my two would enjoy going IN the pool more, but then I think of what all goes along with a fluffy wet husky and am kinda glad they don't, lol. As with most things having to do with the yard though, if they are having fun, I'd rather let them do it and deal with any negatives than have less fun by not being able to do it. Their lives (and ours!) are so short as it is.

Grant isn't a swimmer, and the wading serves to wash his feet, which is his tradition after coming up from the yard. I'm relieved he's not a swimmer, and hope little sister keeps to wading, as well.

Thanks, Jimmy. Sophia is easy to train. She already has the schedule down, and is getting more bonded with Grant every day. He's laid back and she is a pistol, so they're doing fine.
