| OMG..so disappointed on myself. Haven't been on this forum for awhile and totally missed out on the HOTM poll and chat for February. Great February HOTM picture though! Love it. Anyways. Been a little crazy here. We just recently moved into our new rental place 2 weeks ago. From a 2 bedroom condo to a 3 bedroom house. And this time we have a yard! Front and back. The back is dirt and cement though. Kota and Kuky are adjusting very well. I was more nervous with Kota. Kuky have moved so many times so she is use to it but this was Kota's first time moving with us. Our first day there, she was a little anxious and nervous. I can tell she was thrown off. After a few days, she made it her own. She loves it here with more room to do her zoomies and even having a back yard to be able to relax in. The neighborhood is really nice and quiet so she gets her multiple walks a day still. She is super spoiled. We had to buy an additional bed so she has a total of 3 beds for her now. One in our room, the office and the living room. She still manage to sleep everywhere even with the beds. Sometimes she will be on the bed, sometimes on the carpet floor and when she wants to cool down, she goes to the hardwood floor. lol. Such a husky. To add more of that busy life...I got promoted at work to a Team Leader recently. I also got engaged right before we started moving. And we are planning our wedding for September for a Bahamas cruise. Busy crazy this year. Don't worry, I am not Bridezilla! lol So how do you all stay so active in this forum if you have such a busy life? Kids, dogs, family...etc. I don't keep this forum on my phone so I only go on it while I am working and on my computer during my work hours. Kota just being a Husky! |

| Hey there! That's a lot of change in a short time. Awesome that you have a yard now. When we moved years ago and went from a tiny yard, like 20ftx20ft, to an acre fenced I didn't think i would ever see Kenzi again. She was just so far away. I think she thought she was free at first. Congrats on the engagement also. My friend is getting married in Jamaica in August so we are going to have to travel for that. Enjoy. Destination weddings can take a lot of stress off of a person if you let the resort or cruise line handle most of it.
I am on at work most of the time. My job is usually somewhat slow, though some days come with a lot going on. On weekends I usually wander through while I do my morning breakfast routine. Some people check facebook or snapchat religiously, I am not one of those people. The forum is just part of my routine. Not having a nice clean app can make things difficult for those who usually live on their phones, but the lack of drama and hatefulness you see in FB groups make it worth the little bit of hassle to come here instead. _________________ |

| That is the cutest pic. With Kota laying like that, you can rest easy knowing she feels safe, secure...and at home congrats on your new home, your promotion and your engagement! I have IAHT, Instagram, Nextdoor and FB on my phone as well as my iPad. I hit all 4 in less than a couple minutes skimming thru to see if anything is interesting, posting if I have some kind of input or pic, haha, and then I'm out normally I do that on work breaks if I'm at work, or if I'm home, just whenever. |
