| Hey guys i recently bought zodiac spot on for tundra as it was on sale and we are having a bad year for ticks up here in canada. Before using it i googled info and havent seen anything newer than 2010 or so but read alot of horror stories about simular types of products. I was wondering what ypu guys reccomended. Should i use a different brand or use none at all? Please share your experiances and if u have any questions about tundra or our location feel free. He is male year and a half and weighing in at 63 pounds |

| Hi Psingletongolf
My vet recommended NexGard, so that's what I use. It's a beef-flavored chewable tablet. It's easy to administer and haven't had any flea/tick issues or adverse reactions with Echo yet.
I think it's prudent to protect your dog from fleas and ticks, especially as you said this year in Canada it's pretty bad with the weather. Also, I don't know about you, but my husky's coat is sooo thick that I really can't check for ticks. Other than brushing, and bathing him regularly, it gives me a piece of mind that there is at least a line of defence for my furry friend.
Cheers! |

| I use Nexgard as well, works 100% better than the drops I was using. Haven't seen a flea since and no ticks either. |

| I use "Seresto 8 Month Flea & Tick Collar for Large Dogs & Puppies" I have had 0 problems with fleas. This one time I was so worried and embarrassed about rejecting my in-laws offer to bring them over for a doggy playtime weekend thing, because well my husband and I are certain their dogs have fleas. But mine never got the fleas and I am so soooo happy about that and so I am sticking to this product . Plus our vet was happy we had gotten them on it from day 1 and I don't mind the grey simple collar . |
