| I know that harnesses aren't recommended to STOP pulling, but I don't necessarily want him to stop-- we want to go bikejoring in the future, and we're big campers and hikers.
Right now, though, he only has a collar, and he pulls on it until he chokes. I bring him to heel, treat, have him walk at my knee, treat again, but as soon as the treats pause or go away, he's right back out, full pull ahead.
I've read the entire first page in the "harness" search on the forums. Lots of outdated links, expensive products for a growing puppy who will need an upgrade in no time, and a lot of them were sporty rather than casual.
I'm hoping for something relatively inexpensive and simple that'll reduce pulling, at least. I'm open to pretty much anything, though. I want what's best for both of us! Thanks. |

| Get him a harness that fits. You won't have to replace it that often as he grows. nordkyn.com has harnesses that are not expensive. They are very well made. I recommend getting one with a belly band so he can't back out. |

| I know people who have had good luck with the "Kong" brand harnesses. Really though, Alpine Outfitters "Urban Trail" harness is not too terribly expensive, and well made. I bought Wolf the adjustable version. However, they do not offer much adjustment for a growing puppy. |

| I'm one of those people who has had luck with the Kong. Kohdi and Mishka have two different versions of the Kong (I prefer Kohdi's style) Mishka's was selected purely for the color (silver) but has some pretty cool features like a built in seatbelt attachment that doubles as a nicely padded area where when you need to pull back on it, you can without it digging into your hand. Neither does anything for extreme pulling though, however, Mishka can PULL and I've had zero issues as far as wear or her getting out of it. Kohdi's I like purely for its "traffic" handle. |

| A little late to the party but we had success with the king harbesses too. We switched to the alpine outfitters urban mushing one about 6 months ago tho and love it to bits! It's so comfortable and they're not so bad price wise, but if I had to go with a store brand king would be my choice! |

Apparently this harness is only available at Petsmart (according to what I read) Kohdi has the harness called "Kong Comfort Dog Harness &Traffic Loop" and sells for like $25...he's had it atleast 2 years, maybe 3 now and shows no wear. ........Mishka has the "Kong Paracord Reflective Adjustable Harness, and it sells for like $36. I don't have model no.'s or anything but they are sold at Petsmart under those names. |

| Here's the traffic loop one that we bought Luka, size small. He used it for several months before he outgrew it. Couldn't find Mia's large size but it's somewhere in the house haha. We really love it because of the clips. They're sturdy and GREAT for dogs who don't like to step into things. Which is why we got it for Mia in the first place haha |
