introducing Joey, he is my 16 year old chihuahua which i got form my sister that no longer wanted him at 4 months old. I convinced my mom to keep him cause i couldn't see him locked up in a cage at the shelter. It just broke my heart, I'm glade i have him; he's a very good fur baby with a few quirks. Joey is my very first dog got him when i was 17 and never looked back. he goes every were i go if i can take him, i always try to find pet friendly family activities.

wish i had his baby pictures, but they are per-digital camera and i think they have been misplaced when we moved out to manteca.


made him try on his Halloween costume for this year.

joey eye looked milky and was very swollen on Sunday took him to the vet and it turned out he had and infection inside his eye. so the vet also said that there was no sign of any trauma. we got some meds and he is feeling much better. and almost back to his grouchy self lol.

His Halloween picture is hilarious! He does not look happy at all! I'm glad to hear he is doing better.

thanks, it was a bit on the warm side that day   when i had him try on his shark costume.

found last years costume picture he was a spider. he brought lots of smiles and laughs on the way to drop off my niece and nephew to school.




his eye is looking much better today, he actually wanted to go walking with me and Leo the last two days. you can see the brown in his left eye again. we have a check up for him on Monday.

he got his eye checked out today, and they said that it look fine now and just to finish the eye drops. they also asked if i wanted to take him to an eye specialist is to have his eye removed. i said to the vet that if his not in any pain then he should keep his eye. he also has little if any vision in it, so we do have to be careful when he jumps off the curbs and the stairs (which we always carry him).

i wish he would, so he could get roastie with all that Leo fluff. he usually sleeps buried in the blanket on the couch we me. he loves hes jacket, i wonder if i can find him a hole suit that can keep him warm like a taco.

thanks, he still has some kick in his step . we were going to pick the skunk costume, but i though he would be more visible with all the shinnies on the shark. his snarl is very cute, hes had it since he was little and he is quite the character.

he got some help opening his present. we got him a warm blanket.


then when back to mooching treats form my mom.

His new bandanna, he wore on new years day. i'm glad it fit i though i got it to big. definitely using it for the 4th of July. got him to hold still by trapping him on the couch .

Heheh Joey is so tiny! Love the little bells. I bet you could find something online thay would fit his little frame.

he sleeps there all the time sometimes he doesn't want to get up to go pee lol.
oh, his tiny bells a added more so we could hear him cause hes always right under your feet, so far it work okay so he doesn't get steamrolled or heaven forbid someone trip over him and fall (it will probably be me) haha.

joey and Leo get along really well together, it's just too cute when one is so tiny and then one is just big and fluffy, lol

I think that's one of the concerns I have about little dogs is accidently hurting them because I don't see them. But the bells are an excellent idea!
