the 3 of us went walking for about a mile and he feel a sleep after he we came home. haven't got to many of him cause he still runs form the camera or goes for the treat that i have in my had wail i try to take his pic lol. i'm trying to work on my stealth skills to get some good pic of him.

HAHA I love Joey's sheep pics! That's sooo funny! I bet it would only take a couple of swipes of Leo's coat to get enough fluff to cover Joey. Red has started her shedding and it's a storm of a doggy dust bunny around the house...

Joey had a bit of bronchitis, he didn't like staying home lol, but he is doing much better.

and then a few days later he was feeling much better, he still has some med to finish but he is almost back to his crazy grouchy self.

oh my yeah indeed, his nails were hard to clip when he was younger, now he falls asleep when i cut them.lol.

this was him last week he was feeling under the weather, i took him to the vet and found out he had a tooth infection and need to have his teeth removed.


he only got to keep his lower k9's, but he is recovering well, and is almost back to his usually self.

  his first day out after having his teeth removed. and he was very happy to be out and about.

it was warm enough for Joey to get some pool time.

Joey, was not doing so will the last few weeks, his heart begin to fail and it happened very suddenly and he passed way on September 6, 2016. i was there with my brother when he as released over rainbow bridge.

life is heard not seeing him here like he had been for the last 17 years. its like a peace of me any every one is missing once more. i know it will get better in time but some times it just don't seem like it will. some day i know i will be ready to let the love of a new fur baby be part of our family but until then it will be one day at a time.

Oh, brother, my heart goes out to you.  It is obvious that Joey was loved, and that you had a special friend there.

Ronin, I am so very sorry. Even though I've been through it far too many times, I never can find the words to express how badly I feel for those losing a furry member of the family. Just know that Joey loved you all as much as you loved him, had an amazing long life and he could not have been more taken care of than the loving care you gave him. It's just been so obvious in your pics, your stories, that Joey was one loved lil man. Again, so so so sorry for your loss, remember the happy times...there's plenty to remember there. Take care Ronin, give Leo a big hug.

While I wish I could, I can't say it any better that Jimmy did. It's been so much fun watching your little old guy just being himself. I'm so sorry that he's crossed the bridge - but as Jimmy said, know that he was as much loved as he loved.

Ronin, i am so sorry to hear of your loss... your love and delight in Joey has always come through... in your words and your pictures. I've enjoyed your pictures and stories, he was such a cutie pie. I wish I could say something to make the hurt go away... know that in time the memories will become less painful and more cherished. Rest easy knowing you gave him a life full of love and care and fun.

Oh no Ronin..............I am so very sorry to hear sweet Joey has found his way to the bridge. He lived an amazing, long, happy life. Please know that he has many friends to watch over him, and that he watches over you as well. Take extra time with Leo, he will feel sad too. My heart goes out to you, it is so rare to hear of a pup living to 17. Hugs Ronin, he will always be in your heart....

thanks, guys. it means a lot. we did so much together we even took a boat tour around Alcatraz and crossed the golden gate together. i will always cherish his memory's, he definitely left a extremely large paw pint in our hearts for such a little guy. he brought so much joy to me and my family.
