Ahhh good old California heat! Both my dogs are blowing their coats! There's fur everywhere!!! Jinx is a wooly and I swear I can't go near her without getting fur all over and in my mouth haha. This is Alucard's first time, and he won't stop shaking and trying to eat every chunk of fluff that comes off him! My life is now devoted to brushing the little fur balls Anyone else dealing with this right now? When do yours normally blow?

Oh Lordy, Zhukov hasn't started yet, but I am prepping myself for this apparent nightmare! LOL! Every night, I pray that he is some sort of genetic freak who never sheds. He is about to turn 6 months old and this will be his first "blow out". Got my brush, furminator, and vacuum all ready to go!

Both Kohdi and Mishka are. Kohdi for the past couple weeks or so, and Mishka just starting. Both mine have never done a full blown blow yet though, like with Kohdi, i can pull out these little tufts of fur on his neck, on his sides down by the belly and a bit on his hind legs. Mishka so far just on her hind legs (where they meet the belly) but as far as losing entire sections, I've never seen it with both both of them.

Kenzi has been blowing coat ever so often for the last couple months. She'll blow for a while then stop, then go through a tufting phase again. It's almost to come to an end. _________________

Jinx loses entire sections and looks homeless for a few weeks, then she's back to normal. Alucard seems to just be losing little tufts right now, is it safe for him to eat his fur? He tries to eat the brush if there's fur in it, if he shakes and fur comes off he tries to eat it! It's like he thinks it's another animal. I caught him playing with a big ball of fur he stole from the trashcan!

Most of mine went in February. I've got a couple still holding on to their coats, and a couple starting to let go.

Suka is just starting his spring blowout. It's not too bad yet, so I'm holding out on taking him to a groomer. As soon as I start to really see tufts of hair coming loose, I'm going to bring him in.

Miya blows later than everyone else....Wont be expecting her to until April. She also blows later in the fall than others....Odd really since we have had several 80 degree days so far this spring.

Cora just started since she is 11 months last coat blow season she was only 5 or 6 months so obviously not a real coat blow. It's everywhere, I've been brushing her 10 minutes every day to try to keep it to a minimum but I'm vacuuming almost every day.
