| When I come home from work, all the dogs get really excited and start barking because they're happy to see me, but Suka never really participated in that routine.
But today, his voice was added to the mix! In fact, I'd say his was the loudest, and he wasn't just barking, he was howling! After a month of living with us, I think he finally made the connection that the sound of a car coming into the driveway is Mom! It made me feel good to know that he misses me as much as the other dogs do when I'm gone.
What does you dog do that makes you feel good about yourself? |

| Awww, that's so sweet Jessie My two wait for me at the door each day when I come home. I leave the door open (I have one of those security screen doors) so they can look out there if they want to. When I come up the walk, I see two bright smiling faces looking back at me, haha, Kohdi will start woo wooing and then Mishka will push Kohdi out of the way so she is first to greet me, she jumps up on me and gives me hugs and kisses, while Kohdi stands back, ears flat back against his head and woo woo's, then I'm in and Mishka goes running to my room (it's the first place I stop) and jumps on my bed so she's at my level when I come in so she can give me a proper hug, LOLOL (she really gives hugs too!) and she licks my face . Kohdi is there too and waits for me to give HIM a hug, haha, and then we head out to the backyard where they just start running around the backyard and playing. It does make me feel good about myself that they are so happy when I am home. |

| Jessie, that is awesome...Love to hear things like that.....for me, it's my wake ups in the morning. Miya climbs into bed on my husband's side and puts her head on his pillows, inevitably I end up with my head on her and Sofie is on my feet and then about an hour later KA BAM!! hahahaha, Sofie starts licking my face and then Miya's and then we get up, lol. There is nothing better then the unconditional love they give us. |

| I always know when Wayne is coming home - the dogs can be sound asleep, but they hear the car on the road down the hill. First the lift their heads, ears at high attention. Then as the car turns onto our road, the stand up and listen some more. As the car approaches the mailbox, they run to the kitchen door, tails waggin' and heads up. Once he comes in the front door, their noses go to the bottom of the door, their bodies quivering with excitement. When he comes into the laundry room (the other side of the kitchen door) if I can stand it that long, they are up and dancin'...through the door and its "woo woo woo" kisses, circles and more woo woo woo.
Or, when he turns into the driveway, I let them into the front hall where they lie, sphinx like in front of the door, noses to the crack under the door...
Always reminds me of when Josh was little - Wayne would come through the door and it was shrieks of glee "Daddy...." |

| Gabby loves when I get home. I let her out of her crate, she runs down the stairs and jumps straight on "her" chair, Then it is proceeded by a long howl of excitement. then she jumps down and goes by the door to go potty. Pretty much a daily routine. |

| These are awesome to read!
Suka gets so happy to see me that his ears go back, his tail wags, and he starts giving puppy kisses. I love it! He also jumps up in his excitement, and while it's been cute, I'm starting to realize I really need to teach him not to do it. As he gets bigger, that's going to become more of a problem, and the sooner I work on it, the better.
I love walking through the front door and seeing all the dogs' wagging tails and how happy they are I'm home. I greet them before my husband. LOL |
