We have had 2 husky's previously, one we got when she was 4 months old. She was an escape artist and sadly was hit by a car and died as a result. She was 5 years old. The last big guy we had was Husky and his mother was a wolf. We just had to put him down at the age of 15 which was so sad. So we purchased a 7 week old female and the breeder was using Purina Puppy Chow. Any recommendations to get her started on the right foot.

Try DOg Food Advisor and pick a 4 or 5 star food in your price range. I feed Taste of the Wild, High Prairie Formula for the high protein and fat content. Also, no corn which gives my boy pudding poop. Get the puppy formulas, though, formulated for proper bone growth. Also, huskys are NOT a large breed dog so don't get a food for large breed puppies.
