| Hey I am looking for some information. My husband and I are looking into getting a husky as it is a dog hes always wanted. we already have two dogs a male and female Yorkshire terrier. I was wondering before purchasing one if we get a male husky would he fight with our male yorky because of our female or any other reason, basically are Siberian husky's aggressive with two males in the same household as a female. my reason for wondering this is because when I was a kid we had a male rottweiler and male poodle who lived happily together for five years then my parents bought another female rottweiler puppy and the male attacked and killed our poodle because there was a female in the house. I obviously do not want this to happen so im trying to get answers before we decide to get the husky. thank you for anyone who can help. im also not worried of our male yorkie being the one to cause a fight, he has play dates with my sisters male dog and my aunts female dog and they all get along great hes also a really mellow little guy who listens very well. |

| Based on sex alone there shouldn't be a problem. If there will be fights it could be due to any number of things, but to say in advance that sex, necessarily, would be one of those things wouldn't be accurate.
Are you getting a puppy or an adult? |

| We would be getting a puppy from a registered breeder near us. |

| Your chances of then all getting along are even better, in that case.
I wouldn't sweat the sex of the dogs at all, but instead focus on training, socialization, and advocating for the puppy when needed.
Introduce them on neutral territory and go for a walk with them all. Should be smooth sailing from there. |
