Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! | Hi there! My name is Shannon, and I've a 7month old husky named Meisha. To be frank, I'm a cat person. I own two, and when my boyfriend said it was his dream to own a husky I was leery at best. Still, he was earnest that we would split the task of raising this dog, and as someone who grew up in a dog household... I missed the doggy energy. After a month and a half of discussion I found a breeder, and after another month we brought Meisha home. Fast forward about four months, the boyfriend does not walk the puppy, or train the puppy, and does not work and cannot pay for anything the puppy. That on top of other things.... Fast forward one more month and the boyfriend is now the exboyfriend, and like hell was he getting the dog. So here we are: She's a handful, but she's my baby, and I love her. I wouldn't trade her for the world, even if she does make me want to tear my hair out sometimes. I perused the site before registering, and just reading some of the forum posts alleviated some concerns I've had in the past couple of months. "Why doesn't she finish her food?" "IS this normal???" So I joined. I know she loves other huskies, because every time she runs into one at the park and they don't think she's too exuberant she is absolutely beside herself, so if anyone ever wants to meet up and play, we would be very open to that. Besides that well... It's good to meet you all, and it's good to be here! ❤ ❤ ❤ |

| Hi! I'm from SE Michigan originally but in CO now. Where are you at? What breeder is Meisha from? I have a guess from her looks but wanted to see! |

| I'm in the Monroe/La Salle area-- where were you from? Colorado is so gorgeous, you're lucky. Although, I'll admit I don't envy the snow you all just got hit with. Meisha is actually from Nebraska, Cedarwinds Kennels. I set it up so that I could pick her up in the middle of a road trip to the Badlands and the Black Hills. |

| We actually didn't get that much snow. It mostly hits the mountains, Denver is pretty mild and when we do get accumulation it melts quickly because of the sun. I'm from the Ann Arbor area.
My guess was way off then since I was assuming a MI breeder! |

| I had a friend post up a photo and it just looked like too much to me at the time, but then we got hit with our own snow just a few days later, and I have to admit, so long as the roads stay clear it's pretty. Ann Arbor is where I work actually! It's a really great area. Yes, it was a bit misleading-- she is very far from where she was born. |

My heater went out right before we got snow and Meisha kept me toasty warm. He still loves to refer to her as his puppy, even though he never actively tries to see her, or contribute. *shrug* It is what it is. |
