Hello all!

I am a first time Siberian Husky mama. Ever since I was 8 yrs old, I've wanted to be a mama for one after watching Balto! We got the blessing of rescuing one that showed up to my parents' door step. Her name is Chloe Michelle, she is very intelligent and full of energy.

I also have an 8 yrs. old Shih Tzu called Chanel who is all cuddles.

Looking forward to learning from all of you.

The SHCA (Siberian Husky Club of America) is a great place to learn about the breed. For sled dog movies, Iron Will is probably one of the more accurate ones you will find.

I agree about "Iron Will." Great movie, and one of my girl's relatives from her mom's side played the lead dog, Gus.

Laura - this is the way I do it:

Go to servimg.com Set up an account, hit the "upload" button. A screen will come up and have "choose image" Click that. It will bring up all the pictures in your computer. Click on the pic you want, it will bring up previous screen again - next you click on "640 x..." for websites. then "host it". Once your upload is complete you will get a screen with 3 sets of 2 URl's. You want the 2nd line of the middle two (believe it says"BB" ) Highlight 2nd line, right click and copy, go to your post and right click paste into your post.

My way adds a few extra steps to the host/insert image that appears on the "post a reply" page but it's easier for me due to satellite lag.
